Leon: "My head hurts like hell."
The familiar room brought comfort for the first time.
I cried—tears of joy… or was it despair?
The truth hit me: my survival had been nothing more than a stroke of luck.
I tried to stand.
Leon: "Ouch—damn, what's this?"
I looked down at my arms, and only then did I understand what had happened in the trial.
Arrows were sticking out of me everywhere, like I had fallen onto a giant cactus.
My fatal wounds were already healed, it seemed—and my leg was completely intact.
I grabbed the potion I had tossed aside earlier and began ripping the arrows out.
Each one was more painful than the last.
One.Two.Three.Four…
…Forty-nine.
Finally, I grabbed the last one.
I drank the potion immediately.
It felt like acid was corroding my insides, melting me from the inside out.
My body contorted and convulsed violently.

I passed out again.
When I woke up, I no longer had the urge to train.
The fear of what was coming next kept me awake.
Training had only been a way to soothe my mind.
I worked day in and day out.
I stopped questioning how much I trained—it didn't matter anymore.
Why am I here?
What am I trying so hard to accomplish?
Wouldn't it be better if I just died?
My thoughts and actions started to merge, but for some reason I couldn't just give in.
Eventually, exhaustion overtook me.
And for the first time I fell asleep peacefully.
I don't know how long I was out, but another timer started while I slept.
This time, there was no task—just an hour counting down.
As it ticked toward zero, I prepared myself for my end.
3…
2…
1…
This time, I was taken to a large meadow.
And I wasn't alone.
There were maybe a dozen of us.
Everyone looked just as confused as I felt.
Then that bastard appeared.
Rabbit: "Welcome, players. I'm the tutorial manager. Only one out of a thousand survived—whether by luck
The rabbit paused and looked at me with a menacing gaze.
I felt a shiver work it's ways down my spine.
A few people around me swallowed nervously.
Others looked indifferent.
None of us spoke.
Rabbit: "By now, you should be accustomed to the system."
Rabbit: "If you look in your player menu, there is a store where you can purchase items."
Rabbit: "You can also access your inventory by imagining putting something in or taking something out. Think of it as a large storage box you carry with you."
He clapped his hands together once.
The sound echoed loudly.
Like a shockwave it hit my ears making me flinch out of reflex.
Rabbit: "The final portion of the tutorial will consist of seven trials."
Rabbit: "Each of you will receive a unique set of challenges."
Rabbit: "May God be with you."
The meadow trembled.
