It was near midnight and Roxy was still standing outside of the door where Mr Neuman and the rest of the others were guarded. She was currently smoking a cigar and trying not to fall asleep; this was a big task for her since she loved to laze about quite a bit.
Aside from her there were five other awakened superhumans, each seeming more tired than the other. Well, given the exception of Kriss and Sharma who Leo had told her to watch out for, when she had first met them she knew them to be very talkative and cocky about their personal lives. But for some reason now they were cold and lifeless, almost like they were just hollow shells of their original selves.
This caused Roxy to become increasingly more wary of them. Crap, my legs are about to give out. I wonder what's up with those two, who knows how that schmuck is dealing with things on the other side?
