The main reason was that Claire's Talent was too low, only E-grade. Even if she got a few First Clears, she couldn't compare to S-grade or even A-grade Talent Awakeners who cleared normally. With her strength, she couldn't make enough contributions in the Instance to get a good evaluation, so the rewards wouldn't be great.
Even with the extra rewards from First Clears compensating, it wasn't a long-term solution.
