So strong?
JackeyLove could only force a bitter smile. Heimerdinger was never meant to be a support champion.
Even in Bronze, nobody played Heimerdinger as support.
For Fan-ge to lock this in during a scrim really killed his confidence.
He picked Zeri and had no idea how to coordinate with this.
If this weren't a scrim, he probably would've started flaming already.
But the pick was locked—there was nothing left to do but accept it.
"The enemy bot lane duo plays very aggressively. Early on, try not to fight them head-on. Zeri is too weak without items."
Kai'Sa paired with Rakan was a classic combo. As long as Rakan landed Grand Entrance, Kai'Sa could safely stack two passive marks.
That burst was terrifying—something Zeri simply couldn't match in the early game.
JackeyLove had very little confidence in Heimerdinger support.
As for Tian, he didn't join the bot lane discussion at all.
Instead, he said to Knight, "I'll come mid after clearing three camps. Try to poke Corki a bit and see if there's an opening."
Both mid laners were scaling picks with low early damage, but if Viktor could get a kill or even an assist to speed up his Hex Core upgrade, the advantage would be massive.
As for bot lane, there was no intention to path down.
With Heimerdinger support already locked in, going bot would just be suffering.
This game would probably end in ten minutes again.
"Are we contesting lane priority bot?"
TL: Lane Priority is having lane control. Bot is bottom.
JackeyLove noticed Heimerdinger running straight toward bottom lane, clearly with no intention of leashing red buff.
"No. I'll go bot first, drop two turrets, then come back."
Dropping turrets early not only secured vision, but also allowed him to immediately place two more on lane after helping with red, making laning much more comfortable.
"Then I'll come with you."
JackeyLove controlled Zeri and followed.
If the enemy bot lane duo was already there, Heimerdinger could easily get caught.
Best case, he'd burn Flash. Worst case, he'd give up first blood.
"That's good. Coming with me is safer."
As it turned out, JDG's bot lane was already there.
They didn't understand what this Heimerdinger pick was supposed to do, so they came early to take control.
If he tried to plant turrets, they'd just clear them.
Sure enough, the two sides ran straight into each other.
If Heimerdinger dropped all his turrets, the enemy definitely couldn't win—but they weren't stupid enough to fight into that.
So Lin Fan pinged retreat, signaling JackeyLove to back off.
JackeyLove had no intention of fighting anyway.
Still, Lin Fan dropped a single turret.
The reason was simple—to proc the support item passive.
Two turret shots meant forty gold.
Early turrets had enough HP to tank three auto attacks. If one person hit it, that was six autos total—sixty gold value.
Normally, the support would auto it once, then let the ADC finish it.
Sure enough, Rakan did exactly that.
Even a single turret was still worth five gold.
Lin Fan managed to steal forty gold before it went down.
Small gains—but gains nonetheless.
He glanced at his gold count.
"This game's stable already… we're ahead in gold."
"Fan-ge, your turrets didn't stick. Does that mean the setup failed? How are we supposed to lane?"
"It's fine. Just play normally."
Inside JD Gaming's training room.
"I told you—Heimerdinger's only special thing is his turrets. This is basically a Zyra-style setup. Zyra plants flowers, he plants turrets," Missing said smugly.
"But if he couldn't even set them up properly, doesn't that make the pick useless? This game should be free."
"Don't say that too soon. Their AD is JackeyLove. Even with a bad support, a top-tier ADC can still pop off," Hope replied.
"That's true… but the support still has to function. Picking Heimerdinger like this is just trolling. His turrets will mess up Zeri's last-hitting."
Heimerdinger support—no matter how you looked at it, it felt unreliable.
Back on TES's side, Lin Fan followed standard procedure and placed a turret at red buff to help Tian leash.
Both bot lanes quickly returned to lane.
"You just focus on clearing the wave. I'll handle the poke."
"Alright, but don't stand too far forward. Getting CC'd would be bad."
JackeyLove frowned slightly as Heimerdinger stepped up to the melee minions—but the frown quickly disappeared.
"Holy sh*t… Fan-ge's Heimer actually has something. Why is his level one damage so high?"
…
"He didn't even get turrets down properly and he's still playing this aggressive?"
Watching Heimerdinger step forward repeatedly, Missing couldn't take it anymore and went in with Grand Entrance.
But Lin Fan sidestepped cleanly.
He immediately dropped two turrets behind Rakan, cutting off his retreat path.
The turrets started unloading on Rakan the moment they landed.
Combined with Arcane Comet, Rakan lost over a hundred HP in seconds.
Lin Fan also chipped in with auto attacks.
Heimerdinger's autos weren't strong, but two hits still shaved off over eighty HP.
Just like that, on first contact, Rakan lost nearly two hundred HP.
Missing was stunned.
Luckily, Kai'Sa stepped up immediately, preventing Lin Fan from continuing to chase and auto.
Good thing supports started with three potions—Missing grit his teeth and chugged one.
"These turrets are disgusting. They chunked me for at least a hundred HP just now, and Heimer was still poking me on the side."
"Back off for now. We can't contest level two, and with turrets out, we can't win the push."
"Yeah, let them shove. Once they do, I can come gank after finishing Gromp."
Even without slows, level two Lee Sin was deadly in ganks.
As long as Rakan landed Grand Entrance, Lee Sin could instantly follow up with W and chase.
Combined with his execute-heavy Q, as long as the enemy wasn't prepared, the kill was almost guaranteed.
Since Lee Sin started blue side, going red into bot gank would catch them completely off guard.
"Sounds good."
Kanavi's voice echoed through the room, easing Missing's nerves slightly.
At first, he thought Heimerdinger would be easy to deal with—only to lose over a third of his HP on first contact.
Anyone would be shaken.
But with jungle pressure, things would be different.
The faster they pushed, the faster they'd die.
Those two turrets were like ticking death clocks.
Meanwhile, Luo Sheng—who'd been scowling earlier—leaned over after hearing JackeyLove's comment, curiosity getting the better of him.
