As he rushed toward Pope Drevigo, he used Blink, disappearing mid-stride and reappearing behind the stunned Pope.
"White Lion Claws."
His strike landed three times in an instant.
Blood sprayed as flesh was torn apart, and Pope Drevigo was nearly cleaved in half.
Although Pope Drevigo was a named NPC, he was still a priest—his defense and health were extremely low. That was why a single attack from Alan reduced his health by half, not to mention that Alan was currently under the effects of two powerful buffs.
"His Holiness!" Luna shouted as she rushed toward Alan.
But Rin stopped her.
"No, Luna. You're still young, so you can't tell the difference," Rin said calmly. "He is no longer worthy of being Pope."
"Get out of my way!" Luna shouted, bashing her shield as she tried to push past Rin, but Rin stood firm.
Nearby, Isabel looked at the two of them, torn.
"What should I do…?" she murmured as she watched Damian standing there in shock, while Alan—the Malacus Slayer—fought the Pope on his own.
"Goddess' Breath."
Pope Drevigo, who had been on the verge of death, suddenly regained his composure as his health was fully restored in an instant.
"A skill that fully heals… what a scam," Alan said with a grin.
"But I can try this now."
Alan raised his sword.
"Holy Swordsmanship : Condemnation Edict"
[ Condemnation Edict ]
A holy sword style that declares absolute judgment upon a single existence.
The sword does not strike the body—it condemns the soul.
• Inflicts holy damage equal to 120% of the target's total Defense + 400% of your Physical Attack Power
• Damage ignores all damage reduction effects
• Converts the target's Defense into damage before mitigation
• Applies Final Verdict for 8 seconds ]
Alan's greatsword flashed jade as it struck Drevigo.
"Arghhhhhh!"
Once again, Pope Drevigo's health dropped by a massive chunk.
"Goddess' Wrath!"
From behind Pope Drevigo, two golden, disc-shaped formations appeared, firing blazing laser-like beams straight at Alan.
"Wrong move," Alan smiled.
"Holy Swordsmanship: Reversal of Light."
Alan's sword traced a precise arc, the blade bending as it absorbed the two incoming lasers. Holy energy wrapped around the edge as the sword completed a full 360-degree rotation, compressing the attacks into a single point.
In the next instant, Alan sent them back.
The reflected strike tore through the air, returning to Pope Drevigo with 120% of its original power, enhanced by an additional 20% Holy Damage.
"What?!" Pope Drevigo shouted as the attack slammed into him.
His health plummeted—only 10% remained.
"How dare you!! I am the father of billions of people! I am Pope Drevigo!!" he roared as he activated another skill.
"Goddess' Breath—"
"Huh?"
The skill failed to activate.
Pope Drevigo froze in shock as Final Verdict was in effect, sealing all healing for eight seconds.
It was a move created by Chreshler to counter the powerful healing of Vampires, there is now way Drevigo could have resisted it.

"Thank you, benefactor. You have saved the Rebecca Church from corruption," Rin said as she approached him.
Alan nodded calmly.
"Then… can you bless my sword?"
Rin smiled. She gently took Dainsleif into her hands and began chanting a blessing.
A golden pillar of light descended from above.
An earth-shaking roar echoed through the Vatican as Dainsleif trembled violently and began to change.

"A… a holy beast as a pet?!"
Rin and the other Daughters of Rebecca stared in shock.
Even Damian couldn't hide his astonishment. His gaze shifted from the small white lion to the status window in front of him.
Unique Class: Goddess' Agent
"…Thank you," Damian said sincerely. "Thanks to you, I obtained a unique class."
He bowed slightly before continuing,
"I won't take any of the raid items. You can keep them all."
Alan looked at him and rolled his eyes.
"As if I was going to give you any in the first place."
Damian froze for a moment before breaking into laughter.
"Well then… do you have a guild?" Damian asked. "I'd like to join."
Alan paused.
"I'm planning to create one later," he replied. "But will you really join?"
If he follows me, I can even make him Chreshler's successor, Alan thought calmly.
"I will," Damian answered without hesitation, his eyes shining with determination.
Alan smiled.
