Uvogin caught every move Ronin made, but his body just couldn't keep up.
Especially the angle Ronin picked—it was aimed right at the direction of his newly replaced arm.
Even though that arm had been attached for over a month now, Uvogin still couldn't move it as smoothly as his old one.
And that slight mismatch in aura flow? Ronin exploited it perfectly.
Uvogin spun around, lifted his foot, and stomped the ground hard, trying to limit Ronin's speed. Otherwise, in his current state, he'd definitely come out on the losing end. Even if Ronin's next hit didn't take his remaining arm, it still felt like a real threat.
Ronin had turned out way more dangerous than he'd imagined.
Gravel and dirt exploded upward from the massive force, but something else triggered first—the severed arm flying through the air.
Mid-flight, the stump quietly shifted.
From normal flesh and blood, it morphed into a pitch-black cannon barrel. Aura surged out of the opening, blooming into a blinding flash before blasting straight at Ronin.
It all happened in a split second.
As Ronin turned, he saw a powerful aura bullet already rocketing toward his face.
This definitely wasn't Uvogin's arm!
The thought flashed through Ronin's mind as he pulled back one finger, shifting from Four-Finger Spear Hand to Three-Finger.
His fingers slammed into the aura bullet. Lightning-style chakra pierced right through it and kept going.
By then, Uvogin was already at his side.
Losing the arm didn't seem to faze him at all—in fact, he capitalized on the surprise it caused.
Super Destructive Fist again, but this time with his own right fist!
What Uvogin didn't know was that none of his moves escaped Ronin's three-tomoe Sharingan.
So before the punch could land, everything changed in Uvogin's eyes.
Massive spikes materialized out of nowhere, stabbing into his limbs like they were gonna pin him down forever.
Genjutsu: Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.
Common knowledge when fighting a Sharingan user: never look them in the eyes.
Too bad that wasn't common knowledge in this world.
In Ronin's view, Uvogin's charging punch hit a brief wall of resistance—just under a second, but plenty for Ronin to dodge.
The fist smashed into empty air with a sonic boom.
But Ronin's fingers, after shredding the aura bullet from the arm, swept toward Uvogin's gut.
Still Three-Finger Spear Hand.
This time, though, it wasn't a thrust—it was a slash!
BAM!
Thanks to advanced flow control, more aura shifted to Uvogin's midsection, blocking the slash.
But the intense pain still exploded across his abs.
Uvogin ignored it, redirecting aura to his legs for a powerful whip-kick straight at Ronin.
Crackling electricity filled the air as the kick whiffed—only for danger to spike from behind.
Ronin pulled back another finger. Two-Finger Spear Hand aimed right at Uvogin's head.
A manic grin spread across Uvogin's face. Instead of dodging, he charged headfirst into the strike.
BOOM!
An explosive roar erupted where fingers met skull. Even with massive chakra concentrated, the Two-Finger couldn't punch through Uvogin's head.
Ronin's eyes narrowed slightly. Lightning chakra coursed over his body as he backed off—and midway through his retreat, his shirt suddenly ripped open.
It was a hand-chop from Uvogin's spin!
Transmutation-type aura?
Ronin glanced down at his chest. Not even a scratch on his skin.
Lightning Release Chakra Mode didn't just amp up his offense—it gave him insane defense too.
After all, this technique had another name: the Strongest Shield of Lightning Armor!
Uvogin's attack reminded him a bit of Gon's style—improvising under pressure?
But a last-minute trick like that wasn't packing much punch. If Ronin beefed up his body even more, he'd shrug it off completely, even in full chakra mode.
He pulled back one more finger from the two remaining.
Chakra surged into that single digit. This was One-Finger Spear Hand—the Third Raikage's ultimate attack.
Uvogin's face darkened.
Ronin was faster than him, and worse—he could read every single move like an open book. Even the flow of aura through his body was crystal clear.
No amount of concealment hid anything from those eyes.
Beating Ronin head-on in this state? Wishful thinking. Their brief exchange made it clear: even landing a hit would be tough.
That's why he'd tried the surprise factor—branching out from pure Enhancement with Emission and Transmutation.
Just like how Ronin had switched to ranged attacks in their arena fight when close combat wasn't working.
Ronin's figure vanished again!
Uvogin formed a hand-chop with his remaining arm, aura condensing around it into a razor-sharp edge.
Ronin reappeared right in front of him.
One-Finger Spear Hand drove full-force toward Uvogin's heart.
Uvogin roared, mouth wide open—like banging a gong right in Ronin's face.
A massive shockwave of sound blasted outward, while his hand chopped forward.
The sound wave rolled over Ronin... but did nothing.
Old trick!
Uvogin had pulled this on the airship, and it hadn't worked then either. Thinking it'd land now? Dream on.
Ronin just channeled some chakra to protect his ears—the impact didn't faze him.
But Uvogin's preemptive chop did clash with Ronin's extended arm, knocking the One-Finger slightly off course.
It pierced through Uvogin's side instead...
...and in an instant, ripped out a chunk of flesh!
Ronin stopped behind him, flicking his arm to shake off the gore hanging from his finger.
He turned, gaze cold and detached as it landed back on Uvogin.
Uvogin looked down at the wound in his gut. Intestines were spilling out.
His expression was grim.
In this fight, he couldn't see any path to victory anymore.
Mixing Transmutation with Emission had given him one surprise hit on Ronin, but that level of power couldn't compare to Super Destructive Fist. The damage to Ronin? Basically nothing.
If they kept this up, the one dying would definitely be him.
