Chapter 36 - Chapter 36: Naruto's Life

Naruto World

Uchiha Madara was just about to activate his Six Paths Mode when a sudden thought crossed his mind. As the victor of this battle, he was still entitled to one final wish.

"I was so caught up in the moment that I nearly forgot," he muttered to himself.

"I want to create a world where there are no losers—only winners. A world filled with peace and love."

People were inherently selfish. They cared only about the joy of their own victories and never spared a thought for the suffering of those who lost. No one questioned why losers had to exist in the first place; everyone simply wanted to stand on top, building their happiness on the pain of others. Among all of them, only Madara had ever taken this contradiction seriously.

He had once planned to use the Eye of the Moon Plan, forcing everyone into an eternal illusion. But that idea had never truly solved the problem. It merely replaced reality with a dream—people would still hurt one another, except their suffering as losers would be fake, and the happiness they gained would be fake as well.

Now that he had finally become the ultimate winner, Madara was determined to bring his wish into reality.

"That's an ambitious desire," Shinji said after a moment of thought. "If what you want is happiness for everyone, then I'll help you make it happen."

Madara's wish was unlike the others. Wanting joy for all people, rather than for oneself alone, could only be described as selfless.

In the next instant, the System's power erupted. Golden light poured down across the Naruto world, and something subtle yet profound changed within everyone's hearts.

Tobirama no longer carried his deep-seated prejudice against the Uchiha Clan. The villagers of Konoha began treating Naruto with warmth instead of suspicion. Gaara lost his withdrawn, hostile nature, and the people around him no longer feared approaching him.

Even Obito finally let go of his obsession with Rin.

In short, the entire world felt lighter—happier.

"Ding. Rewards have been issued. Distributing rewards to the Host."

A few moments later, the System's voice rang out again.

"Ding. Congratulations to the Host for acquiring Six Paths Power and a Perfect Susanoo."

"That's perfect," Shinji said with a grin. "I've always wanted to experience this for myself."

He immediately entered the Mirror World, summoned his Perfect Susanoo, and began cutting down mirror monsters one after another. Even the Peerless Dragon struggled to keep pace.

Activating his Rinnegan, he followed up with a Chibaku Tensei. Hundreds of monsters were instantly crushed into nothing.

The sensation was intoxicating.

"Ding. Broadcast concluded. Congratulations to the Host for obtaining twenty million battle points."

Combined with the thirty-one million he had earned earlier, Shinji now possessed fifty-one million battle points—along with a mountain of unopened rewards.

Without hesitation, he opened the shop and spent thirty million points to purchase the Super Saiyan First Stage transformation. This form alone multiplied his combat power by fifty. Even if all the Riders and monsters attacked together, he could wipe them out with a single flick of his finger.

With the audience fired up, it was time to keep the broadcast going.

Haircut, Wash, Blow-Dry—Fifteen Yuan Each:"That Susanoo was more powerful than any Gundam I've ever seen."

Bai Qiuen:"If I had something like that for deliveries, I'd be rich."

Bai Yuechu:"Dad, stop saying such tacky things. Everyone's watching."

Aqua:"They're incredible… I'm a goddess, yet I feel completely useless."

Kazuma:"Can't you still revive me? That ability alone is broken."

Aqua:"True—but Eris pads her chest."

Dragon Fang:"The fifth match is now entering the selection phase. Both sides have thirty minutes to vote."

Sengoku rose to his feet and looked at the discouraged officers before him.

"We've already lost two rounds," he said firmly. "No matter what, the next one must be ours."

To everyone's surprise, the usually laid-back Kizaru spoke up.

"In that case," he said casually, "I'll go this time."

"Good," Sengoku replied, a hint of relief appearing on his face. "We'll be counting on you. Win this one for the Marines."

Kizaru had wanted to enter the Multiverse Battlefield from the very beginning, but Akainu and Garp had beaten him to it. If he won now, he could finally retire in peace—no more clocking in every day for miserable bonuses.

Aokiji had no objections. His personality wasn't much different from Kizaru's anyway. Sleeping during the day with an eye mask on, he remained unbothered even by the idea of battle.

In the end, the Pirate World's chosen combatant was clear:

Kizaru Borsalino.

Naruto World

Naruto, who had endured cold stares from the villagers for as long as he could remember, suddenly found his thoughts drifting to his parents. All he had ever known was that they died on the day he was born. Even their names were a mystery to him.

After Madara's wish reshaped the world, Naruto felt an overwhelming urge to learn the truth. He went straight to Sarutobi.

Hearing the question, Sarutobi's heart trembled. After taking a long pull from his pipe, he finally spoke.

"Your father was the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. On the night the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, he used the Reaper Death Seal to seal half of the beast into you… and the other half into himself."

"What?" Naruto froze in place. His mind went blank as the words sank in.

All his life, he had been called a demon fox. All his life, the villagers had avoided him.

Yet now he learned that his father was a hero who had sacrificed everything to protect the village.

Sakura, standing nearby, stared at Naruto in shock. The loud, troublesome genin who chased after her was actually the Fourth Hokage's son.

Even Shino, usually calm and unreadable, lost his composure. The insects beneath his skin stirred restlessly.

"Then… who was my mom?" Naruto asked quietly.

"Your mother was Kushina Uzumaki," Sarutobi replied. "She wasn't originally from a Konoha clan. On the night you were born, the Nine-Tails broke free from its seal. The mark on your stomach is proof of what happened."

As Sarutobi recounted the events of that night, Naruto felt his chest tighten.

His parents had died the moment he entered the world, leaving him alone for twelve long years. Every time he saw other children laughing with their families, envy burned in his heart.

"Then why?" Naruto suddenly shouted. "Why are you only telling me this now?!"

Sarutobi's expression darkened.

"Because your father made countless enemies as Hokage," he said solemnly. "When you were born, neither of your parents survived to protect you. I changed your surname to your mother's so those enemies wouldn't find you."

Jiraiya, Minato's teacher, understood better than anyone how dangerous the life of a ninja could be. He was also the one who had given Naruto his name.

"If that's true," Naruto said, clenching his fists, "then my dad should fight in the next battle."

Now that he knew the truth, Naruto was determined to see his father again—no matter what it took.

The people around him exchanged glances before nodding in agreement.

After everything he had endured, Naruto deserved that much.
