Chapter 6 - 6. New Village

After several hours of discussion, Azu's side still ultimately won. However this great act of forcing 50 clans to be unable to ever enter their holy land drew hate towards him by them.

They were Angry! Why were they discriminated? Just because of recognising their King?!?! Just because they didn't bwo their proud heads to that Usurpers?!?

Anber and humiliation gave rise to resentment. A resentment similar to the one in Azu's heart, yet one completely different. This was a resentment towards all those they considered traitors! Towards the obsidian fortress that they once considered home. This was a resentment that would never end until the TRAITOR'S heads were hungry up and forever shamed by all generation to come!

Hence, they went away. Away from their sacred land, from their place of birth. Yet while going away, they made a single vow to Azu.

"Remember this Usurper, though we now go away, we WILL come back, back to wash away this humiliation and to extinguish these seeds of flame of vengeance that you have sown in our spirit. When that fated day comes, In our King's name, the obsidian fortress will be shaded in the colour of your blood. For we are no longer a part of this fortress, from now on, WE ARE THE CRIMSON SONS."

These were the last words of them that Azu heard before they went away. He looked at their lonely and vengeful backs, and for the first time he thought. 'Is such Vengeance truly worth it?'

This thought didn't last long before it was replaced by a strong conviction, "No, Only I can lead our people to Glory, the King is too cruel and arrogant, Only I am worthy!"

"My lord", one of his followers called from behind, "should we?", he inquired as he made a cross on his heart, asking Azu whether to end this future trouble.

Azu looked at the distance and slowly shook his head. His Vengence should not involve those who did not wish to take part in it. If he was correct then he would be succesful, after which he could slowly deal with those rebels. If he was wrong though....then they would make sure that the flame of his race keeps going. As for Zeroth keeping the race alive?

'He is not a fire elemental, he is the unchallenged King of the world but he is definitely NOT the king of my race!', Azu heat burned with conviction.

"Forgive me my people, for the future of our race, This is a necessary sacrifice", he said to the distant horizon yet his voice seemed to have a strange hint of sadness.

"Let's go!", Azu ordered, before going back to his house. He still needed to reform the fortress, and to find out the weakness of his King that he can exploit. In the near future, the difference between Oblivion and Enternity may be just a few steps. Hence, he could not stop now, fo he had already done too much. Now his ambition was no longer his own, it represented his race.

The fifty clans never looked back for this would dishonour the flames of Vengeance that burned in them.

Yet, despite the anger in their heart, they were rational. They knew that they couldn't win if they attacked the Obsidian Fortress, hence why they left without any effort. They also knew that the damage they caused would be too much for Azu to bear hence they dared state their intentions, for they knew that the Usurper would not dare to attack them.

They kept marching, looking for a place to stay. They didn't choose any place with weak defense for that would become a problem to their future war. They didn't choose any place too close or too far from the obsidian fortress gor that would also be a problem for the future war.

After much consideration, they chose a valley similar to one where obsidian fortress is located, yet covered in lush trees and grass. This is where they ran into their first problem.

"There is no obsidian here", a member proclaimed. They all realised that this was the truth, they needed obsidian to build their own fortress, otherwise they would have no place to live.

Although their bodies were naturally strong, it couldnt content against nature, perhaps in the barren land filled with Feir It was still fine but in this land of lush trees and grass? The Feir in the air was only enough for them to eat their fill, using it for high level protection or hearing was a tunnel dream (pipe dream).

Just as they though that they would have to migrate again, One of the party's elder member (the two council clan members who are migrating with them), Kel, who is recognised as the 'Clever one', offered hai advise.

"Throughout our travels, I have seen trees grow from ground, we can make many trees grow as walls, creating houses. They also become same (repair) after they are hurt, so we won't have to make new ones."

Hearing what the elder said, the party thought that it made sense so they agreed and tried finding out about how trees grew and how to make them into houses.

Also, no one seems to be reading, or if they are then they aren't suggesting stuff. I sincerely hope that you can interact and share your thoughts about this story, it would be very helpful for me.
