CHAPTER 2 —
THE QUESTION Dorsen knelt alone in a church late at night.
He asked the question that had followed him for years:
"God… why don't You give us power?"
He imagined it clearly:
Diseases erased
Humanity stronger
Technology beyond limits
Suffering reduced
Yes—there would be chaos.
Yes—there would be villains.
But humanity would survive.
So why not?
The church was silent.
No voice.
No sign.
No answer.
Dorsen lowered his head.
For the first time, he wondered:
"Does God not love me…
or does He simply refuse to answer?"
