The mere news of the Light Domain's dissipation was enough to drive them into despair, but now there were other intelligent and superior races involved too.
Alex inhaled deeply and steadied himself.
He took out the communicator and called his mother.
"Mom, come to the Celestus house," he said calmly.
"Okay." Elizabeth didn't ask anything further.
"Master, this whole situation should be some kind of trial from a higher cosmic system, don't you think?" Alex asked.
Elyndros was genuinely surprised that Alex could reach such a conclusion so quickly.
"Judging by everything, it does seem so. We are most likely guinea pigs who have been spoon-fed for five hundred years, and now the experiment is about to begin," Elyndros replied.
