Luna's pov I was 17 years old and my little sister Lily was 16 years old, we were playing outside and making snow angels until I heard my parents telling us to come back inside and get warm up. we both got up and started running to the door while having big smiles on our faces. My mom and dad were just laughing at us because my sister Lily fell on ice. Lily: stopped laughing at me! I started laughing along with my parents while my sister Lily was pouting. My mom was making dinner and I was in the shower my sister Lily was in her room putting her pajama on, hours later I got out of the shower I put my camisole top with all-over heart print and shorts pajama on and I start brushing my wet hair and went to the kitchen. mama can you french braid my hair when you get done cooking dinner ? Mom: Yeah. She smiles at me while cooking I went upstairs and went into my room watching kpop edits on Youtube until I hear my dad talking to someone on the phone. I got up and went downstairs and went into the living room and sat down on the couch not trying to be noisy and I heard my dad was talking to uncle Yu-jun. Dad: Yes you can come over and stay the night for a couple of days, Uncle Yu-jun: Good and my kids are coming with me letting you know. How is my sister-in-law doing, Dad: she is doing good and she is cooking dinner. He hang up on him. dad who was that I said that as I was still looking at the TV Dad: your uncle yu-jun he is coming over and staying the night for a couple of days and your cousins are also coming over too and where is your sister?. she is in her room watching TV why?. My mom walks in the room and scares me a little. Mom: because dinner is done that's why now go get your sister. Okay.. I went upstairs and went to my sister's room, Lily mom got done cooking dinner are you coming? Lily: Ya I am coming. I went back downstairs and sat down in the dining room and my sister came in as I heard someone knocking on the door. Dad: must be your uncle Yu-jun. he got up and went to the living room front door and opened the door revealing uncle Yu-jun, aunt Ha-yoon,(she is a abusive) and my cousin Young-mi(Girl and she is 6 years old), Yoo-joon(Boy and he is 13 years old), Chin-hwa (boy and he is 10 years old), se-yun (Girl and she is 15 years old), and Joo-won (boy and he is 18 years old and he is a pervert and got too many records on him). they came into the dining room. Mom: are you guys hungry. Uncle yu-jun: No we already ate before coming here but thank you though. My mom smiles at him. After hours we got done eating, I went back to the living room and sat down on the floor between my mom's legs as she was french braiding my hair and I hear my sister saying good night to everyone and went upstairs to her room, my uncle already went to bed in one of the guest rooms. My little cousin Young-mi was sitting in my lap watching my little pony on her ipad as my mom got done braiding my hair, my mom got up and give me a kiss on the cheek I can tell she's tired and wants to go to bed because she always does that before bed, Mom: good night, I love you Moongirl (it's a nickname that she's been calling me since I was a baby) and don't stay up all night. Good night mama and I love you too, mom and dad left the room leaving me alone with aunt Ha-yoon and Joo-won, I realize young-mi fell asleep in my lap with her ipad still playing. Aunt Ha-yoon grabbed my shoulder behind me I didn't know that she was sitting behind me I looked at her while I was being scared and looked at Joo-won he was vaping. Yes aunt ha-yoon? I picked her up and went upstairs and went to one of the guest rooms which is close to my room, I laid her down into her bed and tucked her in and covered her up and went back downstairs while my body was shaking and sat down on the couch. I hear someone was kncocking on the door and aunt ha-yoon got up and opened the door revealing her friends and Joo-won friends, sung-ho (boy and he is 18 years old, he is toxic, bossy and controlling towards his partners), ye-jun (Man and he is 20 years old and he is abusive), Ji-yoon (Man and he is 37 years old and he has alcohol problems and hits his own kids when he is drunk),Jun-suh (boy and he is 19 years old and he was forced to come alone with them). I have known Sung-ho since childhood but I didn't expect him to come, what's going on here?, Joo-won: we are going to have fun with you Luna, I went quiet immediately. Ji-yoon: is this the fun you're talking about ha-yoon? aunt ha-yoon: yes it is why would I lie to you, they start laughing, Ji-yoon: this is going to be fun, I went to leave so badly but my own body won't let me, I start zoning out and being quiet and playing with my red birthstone heart ring that my great-great grandma give me on valentine's day,then someone grabbing my arms so tightly that they pull me back into reality. Please stop (in a weak tone, Aunt ha-yoon was making a video of me getting beat up while laughing nobody didn't hear me scream or cry for the rest of the night, hours later they stop and they left the house I grab my phone (which it was right next to me) and look at the time it's 6:00 Am in the morning, I got up still hurting from them hitting me I was covering in blood and bruises I went upstairs to my room and clean the blood off of my body and change into gingham print pajamas pants with a gray zip up hoodie and went to sleep. Hours later it's now 12:00 pm in the afternoon, my dad came in and saw me still asleep, dad: Luna it's time to wake up, not now dad I barely slept last night, dad: did you take your sleeping pills last night?, no I forgot to take them last night, dad: well your mom wants you for something, okay. I got out of bed and went dowstairs and went to the living room, yes mama?, my uncle, sister, cousins, and my aunt were looking at me, mom: I hear that you went to bed late last night and you and your sister miss dance practice this morning, because your coach called me this morning, sorry mama, mom: it's fine don't do it again, I was too tired to talk to anyone because I was entirely too sore from the beating I took from the night before and nobody seems to care or even ask what is wrong. Years have passed
