Chapter 81 - Team Heart of Fire

"Hello, we'd like to register a Spirit Fighting team."

At the front desk, Xin spoke to the Great Spirit Arena staff.

The staff member in charge was a woman with purplish-red hair, dressed in professional attire. She glanced at Xin, and her first impression was of extraordinary temperament:

"Alright, sir, are you registering for a 2v2 or 1v1 Spirit Fighting match?"

"We are registering for a team battle." Xin said calmly.

"Team battle? If I understand correctly, sir, are you registering for a 7v7 team battle?"

"Yes, what's wrong? Is there a problem?"

"No problem... I apologize, sir, I saw that you only have five people in total, so I assumed you didn't plan to participate in team battles for now." The staff member quickly apologized.

"Hmm, to be precise, we only have four people. Can four people register for a team battle?" Xin asked.

"Ah?"

The purplish-red-haired female staff member was clearly stunned, and it took her two seconds to recover: "Sir, you're not joking, are you? You only have four members to register for a team battle?"

"Yes, can it be registered?"

Xin was different from Shrek. He wouldn't just recruit a few students to complete his team for the sake of winning. Although these students hadn't graduated yet, they should be sufficient for Spirit Master team battles. He had this confidence in his teaching and cultivation methods.

"Yes, you can, and missing members can be added at any time later, but almost no Spirit Master team chooses to do so."

The staff member took a deep breath: "Even if one or two teammates are missing, facing a Spirit Master team of the same level, or even a Spirit Master team of a lower level, the chances of winning are extremely low, almost impossible. Even if there are individual cases of victory, it is extremely difficult, let alone your team is missing three members. Sir, are you sure?"

Xin smiled slightly: "I'm sure."

"Alright, please enter your names and collect your Spirit Fighting badges."

The staff member continued to ask: "May I ask, what is your team name?"

"Heart of Fire Battle Team." Xin said calmly.

"Okay, wait—Heart of Fire Battle Team? You are the Heart of Fire Battle Team?!"

The staff member had just finished recording the team name when she suddenly froze, looking at the young men and women in front of her in surprise.

"What? Do you have a problem with our Heart of Fire Battle Team?" Ning Rongrong snorted.

"I'm sorry, I'm just very surprised. Please forgive my bluntness, but are you the Heart of Fire Battle Team that has never appeared and will be having a special PK with Shrek tomorrow?"

The staff member asked with some disbelief.

"That's right, it's us," Zhu Zhuqing replied calmly.

"Gulp~"

"You're going to face Shrek's seven-person team with a four-person team?"

"So what?"

Meng Yiran and Ning Rongrong both disliked feeling looked down upon.

"Heart of Fire Battle Team? They're the Heart of Fire Battle Team?"

"Look, they're the team that's going to PK the undefeated myth, the Shrek Team, tomorrow. They only registered four or five people?"

"I'm betting on Shrek to win!"

"All in! All in! Isn't this a sure profit? Even a little pocket money is good!"

"I'll bet another thousand gold coin!"

"I'll add ten thousand!"

"I'll add ten thousand too!!!"

In the Sotou City Great Soul Arena, seeing the members of the Heart of Fire Battle Team appear, and it being their first registration with only four members, everyone went crazy.

The situation, which was already leaning towards Shrek, became completely one-sided.

Ning Rongrong's small face was full of defiance: "Teacher, let's go bet too!"

Xin said calmly, "I've already bet."

"How much did you bet?"

"Two thousand gold coin."

"Ah? Only two thousand gold coin? That's too little, isn't it?" Ning Rongrong pouted.

"It's not a small amount. Do you think the body tempering and blood nourishment I usually give you, and those training facilities in the academy, come for free? I'm counting on you to win against Shrek this time and earn their ten thousand gold coin."

Xin sighed. Teaching and educating people was truly difficult. Although he can create everything from ring to Bone, there were many things he needed to purchase using gold, and what he earn from his side-job was already good enough that his balance was sufficient.

"Teacher, you don't have money?"

Unexpectedly, upon hearing her teacher complain, Ning Rongrong's eyes lit up. She pulled out a gold card from her embrace and slapped it on the table, causing a stir throughout the venue:

"Teacher, why didn't you say so earlier? You don't have money, but I do!"

"I'll bet a hundred thousand gold coin, and all the earnings will go to Teacher!"

"But if we win, Teacher, you just have to kiss me! Isn't that a good deal!"
