Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: What about me? Hmph

As Tara and Karna held each other in a warm embrace, the world around them seemed to fade into the background. The rustling leaves, the gentle melodies of the forest, and the crystal-clear waters of the pond created a serene backdrop to this intimate moment.

Tara could feel the steady rhythm of Karna's heartbeat, a comforting reminder of his presence and his commitment to understanding and supporting her.

The complexities of their past and the uncertainties of their future momentarily ceased to matter, replaced by the simple yet profound connection they were forging.

Minutes passed in a quiet embrace, a wordless exchange of understanding and support. Tara's heart, once burdened by the weight of her past and the choices before her, began to feel lighter as if a healing balm had been applied to her soul.

Finally, they separated from the hug, their eyes meeting with a shared sense of warmth and affection. Tara's cheeks were still flushed from the experience, and a smile graced her lips, a genuine expression of the comfort she had found in Karna's presence.

"Thank you, Karna," Tara whispered, her voice carrying a sense of gratitude. "This means more to me than words can express."

Karna smiled back at her, his own heart warmed by the connection they were forging. "You're welcome, Tara."

"Let us go and tell King Sugriva and the others of our decision," Tara suggested, a sense of determination in her gaze. She felt ready to face the challenges and uncertainties of the future with Karna by her side, and she knew that their decision would have a significant impact on the kingdom of Kishkindha.

Karna nodded in agreement, his golden eyes filled with a sense of purpose. "Yes, let us inform King Sugriva and the others of our intentions."

With their decision made and a newfound bond between them, Tara and Karna left the serene garden.

Upon arriving at the throne room, they found King Sugriva and a gathering of courtiers and nobles awaiting their return. Sugriva's expression was a mix of curiosity and anticipation as he regarded Tara and Karna.

"King Sugriva," Tara began, her voice steady and resolute, "Angraj Karna and I have decided the promise made by Vali and the events surrounding his return."

Sugriva leaned forward on his throne, his attention fully focused on Tara's words. "Please, go on."

Tara continued, "We have decided to honor the promise made by Vali, and I have chosen to accept Angraj Karna's proposal of marriage."

A ripple of astonishment swept through the courtiers and nobles present. The decision was unexpected, and it held significant implications for the future of Kishkindha. Sugriva, though surprised, maintained his composure.

"Your decision carries great weight, Tara," Sugriva acknowledged. "It is a testament to the complexities of the past and the choices we must make to move forward."

Tara nodded, her gaze unwavering. "Indeed, King Sugriva. The past cannot be changed, but we can shape our future with the decisions we make in the present. Angraj Karna has shown understanding, respect, and support, and I believe that together we can forge a path that honors both our histories and our commitment to Kishkindha."

Sugriva, while still processing the unexpected turn of events, offered his support. "Your decision is respected, Tara. Angraj Karna, I trust that you will uphold the promise made to Vali and protect Tara as you have pledged."

Karna, standing beside Tara with a sense of resolve, responded firmly, "I give my word, King Sugriva, that I will honor the promise and protect Tara with all the strength and devotion at my disposal."

The solemnity of the moment hung in the air as Karna's words resonated with unwavering commitment. The courtiers and nobles present in the throne room, as well as King Sugriva himself, bowed their heads in reverence, acknowledging the significance of the promise being made.

Sugriva spoke with a sense of finality, "Let it be known that Tara and Angraj Karna's decision is honored and respected by the kingdom of Kishkindha. Their commitment to Vali's promise and their dedication to our kingdom's well-being shall be remembered."

After some days at the gates of the royal palace, three individuals could be seen facing a massive crowd who were giving their goodbyes to their former queen.

The massive crowd that had gathered outside the royal palace to bid farewell to their former queen, Tara, was a testament to her impact on the people of Kishkindha. The Vanaras and Apsaras, as well as other denizens of the kingdom, had come to express their gratitude and offer their blessings for her future.

As Tara stood alongside Angraj Karna and Lilith, she was touched by the outpouring of support and affection from the crowd. Her decision to marry Karna and the events that had unfolded had resonated with the people, and they had embraced her choice with open hearts.

Tara addressed the crowd with a voice filled with warmth and gratitude. "Dear people of Kishkindha, your presence here today warms my heart. I am deeply moved by your support and well wishes."

The crowd's response was resounding, and their support for the newly formed union was evident. The people of Kishkindha believed in Tara and Karna's commitment to their kingdom, and they embraced the future with optimism.

As the crowd continued to express their well wishes, Angraj Karna gestured toward the celestial chariot that awaited them. It was a magnificent sight, with its luminescent horses and divine aura.

Tara turned to face the crowd one final time, her heart filled with gratitude. "Thank you, dear people of Kishkindha, for your love and support."

With those words, Tara, Karna, and Lilith boarded the divine chariot, and it gracefully ascended into the sky. The people of Kishkindha watched in awe as their former queen and her new companions departed, their journey filled with hope, promise, and the blessings of their kingdom.

As the chariot disappeared into the horizon, the crowd slowly dispersed, their hearts filled with optimism for the future of Kishkindha under the protection and guidance of Tara and Angraj Karna.

...

"Where are we going now? Anga or somewhere else?"

As the divine chariot soared through the skies, Tara's question hung in the air, carried by the gentle breeze. She and Karna sat side by side, with Lilith nearby, the ethereal presence of the celestial vehicle enveloping them.

"Ah~ We are going to the kingdom of Panchal first, I haven't explained everything to them yet and Draupadi is there, My first fiancee."

Tara nodded in understanding as Karna mentioned their destination. She knew that Panchal was an important kingdom, and the presence of Draupadi, Karna's first fiancée, added a layer of significance to their journey.

"I understand, Karna," Tara replied with a gentle smile.

[Kingdom of Panchal]

The courtyard of Draupadi's palace in the Kingdom of Panchal was a magnificent sight, with its grand architecture and lush gardens.

As the divine lion landed gracefully in the courtyard, it drew the attention of the palace guards and servants, who watched in awe as five young girls descended from its back.

"Where is Karna? We can't find him even after so many days and seeing that destroyed battlefield didn't ensure me much."

The girl with fiery red hair and purple eyes spoke with a sense of concern, her words filled with worry about Karna's whereabouts. Her companions, four other young girls, shared her unease as they looked around the courtyard.

"We know how you feel, Kamini," said one of the girls, a tall figure with purple hair and crimson-red eyes "But we all know that Karna is strong, Nothing bad can happen to our Karna that easily."

Kamini nodded, though her anxiety remained evident. "I know, Scáthach, but it's been so long since we've heard from him. He promised he'd return to us."

Scáthach, the girl with purple hair and crimson-red eyes, placed a reassuring hand on Kamini's shoulder. "I understand your worry, Kamini. Karna has always been a man of his word. We should have faith that he will return to us."

The other three girls, each with unique characteristics and features, nodded in agreement. They had all formed a deep bond with Karna during their time together, and their concern for his well-being was genuine.

Just as their worry deepened, a celestial chariot descended gracefully into the courtyard, capturing the attention of everyone present. As the chariot touched the ground, its occupants, Tara and Karna, stepped out, followed by Lilith.

Kamini's eyes widened with astonishment and relief as she recognized Karna. "Karna! You're back!"

The other girls, too, were overcome with a mixture of surprise and joy at Karna's return. They rushed forward to hug their fiancé.

Karna smiled warmly as he embraced Kamini and the other girls, the genuine affection between them evident. It had been a while since he had seen his fiancées, and their presence brought a sense of homecoming.

"Kamini, Brinda, Kali, Scáthach, Mandodari," Karna greeted them with heartfelt warmth. "I've missed you all."

"What about me? Hmph~"

A beautiful girl walked towards them with a pout with shaking legs which they guessed was because of restraining herself from throwing herself at Karna in front of other two strangers Karna.

The arrival of the fifth girl caught Karna's attention, and he couldn't help but smile as he recognized her. She had always been the most reserved and composed among his fiancées.

"Draupadi," Karna said with a warm smile, addressing the girl who had walked toward them. "I missed you too."

Draupadi's pout softened into a smile as she stood before Karna. Her black hair flowed like a cascade of silk, and her dark eyes sparkled with a mixture of affection and playfulness. Despite her composed demeanor, she couldn't hide her genuine happiness at Karna's return.

Karna extended his hand towards Draupadi, and she let herself submerge in his embrace.

As Karna and Draupadi embraced, the courtyard of Draupadi's palace seemed to come alive with an air of joy and reunion. Their love and affection for each other were evident, and it was a heartwarming moment for all who witnessed it.

Kamini, Brinda, Kali, Scáthach, and Mandodari, who had formed a close bond with Karna during their time together, couldn't help but feel their worries dissipate as they saw the happiness on their fiancé's face.

"Karna, where have you been?" Draupadi inquired, her voice filled with both curiosity and relief. "We were worried about you."

Karna gently withdrew from the embrace, though he continued to hold Draupadi's hand as he addressed all of them. "I have much to tell you, my loves. It's a long and complicated story, but I promise I will explain everything."

Kamini spoke up with a hint of playful teasing. "We've missed you terribly, Karna. You can't just disappear like that."

Karna chuckled warmly, appreciating their concern and affection. "I apologize for causing you all worry. Let's go inside, and I'll share everything with you."

The group began to make their way into the palace, the celestial chariot disappearing as they entered. The palace of Panchal, known for its grandeur, served as a fitting backdrop to their reunion.

Inside the palace, Karna, along with Tara and Lilith, settled in a private chamber where he began to recount the events of his journey, the promise made to Vali, and the complexities surrounding his return. His fiancées listened with rapt attention, their expressions shifting from concern to curiosity and finally to understanding.

As Karna spoke, Draupadi held his hand tightly, her support and affection unwavering. The other girls, too, showed their support through nods of understanding and the occasional reassuring touch.
