Prince Kaiden was not happy with the new development. His mood had soured instantly once he realized that Shuu came here because he wanted permission to leave.
Even Sera's pampering could not make him feel better.
He could only stare at the place Shuu had been sitting not too long ago.
"Prince Kaiden, would you like to take a small walk with me? It might help you calm your mind a little."
Sera asked, and her earnest request finally made Prince Kaiden move.
He sighed as he pushed himself back to his feet and followed her out. He could feel the maids looking at him, but his heart was not in it.
Sera noticed this, and even though she did not want to say anything, she felt like she had to speak up.
"I am sure your ex-companion will be just fine. He will be back in time for our wedding. So let's make sure we set it up quickly. That way, you would be able to see him soon, right?"
