The kids were suffering as they reached for Andrew. Their desperation showed clearly in their eyes as they attacked everyone around them.
Queen was the first to react as she continued to fight back against these kids. She showed no mercy, and her abilities froze the kids' arms and legs.
"Queen, be a little more careful with these kids. We need to find a way to snap them back…"
Thief warned her, but he seemed doubtful whether it was something possible or not. He had not seen such a future coming either. But he felt a little sorry because all the hard work they had put into preparing these kids seemed to come down to nothing.
"I am trying. But I don't think these kids are interested in getting saved."
Queen complained, mostly to make her life easier and for Thief to not feel any guilt over what he was doing.
Andrew and Seraphina's side was more relaxed, but the modified kids had noticed them as well and were slowly starting to turn their attention toward the kids.
