"Andrew, a little explanation will be helpful. I think there is a misunderstanding here."
Lilianna carefully observed the situation around her. She looked at the hand the female in front of her had placed on Andrew's arm, and her frown deepened. A part of her felt irritated and wanted to drag that hand away.
But the fact that Andrew did not say anything to the owner of that hand or even acknowledge it as problematic made her step back.
However, unlike her, Clara had no filter on her mouth.
"Andrew, you know that lady? She doesn't really look human. Are you sure she's safe?"
Clara trusted Andrew completely, so she was willing to believe anything he told her. But Emperor was not the same as her. Unlike Clara, he kept glaring at Seraphina, and his hand flexed in an attempt to get to her.
Unfortunately for him, Andrew's shield protected her.
