Chapter 4 - Recruitment.

‎---CHAPTER 4 ---

‎ Somewhere in the vast and continuous universe, we'll see a planet beaming with life from the lives in it. Phuta, a planet with great magnitude of advanced cities, drowned in technology and dropping anguish to galaxies far and away. Touch it's hair and you're quickly extinguished from life. So yes, Phuta is not a place you'll want to spend your Christmas at.

‎ Sitting right at the heart of Phuta is the kingdom of Diaplo, the great dictator of Phuta. According to legends - their legends - Diaplo happened to be one of the descendants of Skaugin - a powerful god who destroyed vast universes and layed the first blocks of the Phuta Diaplo now ruled.

‎ Phuta hadn't always been the salted-jagged planet it is today. Centuries upon centuries ago, migrants and tourist would come to cool off and suck in all Phuta had to offer. Ranging from beaches to the very wide selection of wildlife that called the place home. Families would come with an open heart, with some even deciding they didn't want the fun ending and went ahead living there. It was all peaceful and unified with festival and celebration. There was no reasonable reason to shed tears.

‎Until....

‎*BANG*

‎The sound of a hundred bombs came rushing in as alarms blared as warning massages swept the cities in Phuta and addressed.

‎

‎" WARNING! all residents are commanded to retrieve to a safe house and remain there until further notice. this is not a drill. WARNING! all residents are commanded to retrieve to a safe house and remain there until further notice. this is not a drill. WARNING!..."

‎It continued as a sharp scream sliced through the warning massages from a random Phutanian. She had just seen her left hand chopped off clean and witnessed the murder of her only two kids. It happened quicker than a lightning bolt, suddenly two lives were gone, two lives she held so dear to her's. Weak, confused and full of grief and x-mother felt that night as she felt the warm blood of her sons drip down her right hand fingers like it was nothing. Then and there she fell to the ground and made a vow with her blood to avenge her children's blood, even if it costs her her life.

‎ In the mist of the chaos, some looked up to the heavens to gaze at the beautiful gates while awaiting their pending doom, out so they expected, instead the saw a young storm crawling towards the city. Now Phuta had seen counties storms over the centuries, but something distinguished this very storm from the rest. It wasn't your everyday storm. It sounded like the classroom of swords doing battle, nothing too unique in that, until you really figure it out. It was the colour; the mixture of dark rainbow colours swirling around the city as it grew and grew. As calamity rained, a bean of light gushed out revealing a glowing portal right where the grieving Phutanian woman was. Everything felt silent as she didn't even realize the portal at her back and a man walking out of it.

‎ "I'm so sorry" the man consoled.

‎ She didn't breath a word and choose to remain silence. The air seem to grow heavier as time seem to slow down around them, literally.

‎ " Please accept my condolence" The man begged.

‎ She opened her eyes and reluctantly shifted it to the direction of the man's foot at her back only to be obstructed be a large Cyber-tech looking gun. She took a long breath before finally speaking.

‎ "If you're here to kill me, at least spare me the extra pain". She said with a voice drenched with grief itself.

‎ "I know you are hurt, but look around" he said signifying with his hand " your are not safe here".

‎ " I'll never be safe.... no where is" she said with a low tone.

‎ "Well I'm offering to take you to a safer place than this. A safer place from him. There's no time to waste. He is coming for you. He'll take everything you have".

‎ "Everything I had,...,he'd already been taken" she said with a low tone.

‎ "Not everything, you have to come with me. I'll help you". He said while stretching out his hand to support her up.

‎ "I'm not going anywhere" she yelled and pushed his hand away. Now sobbing she repeated "I'm not... I'll not going anywhere".

‎ There was a moment of silence around them. The man looked up and saw Phuta. Painted with blood like never before and dressed with the corpse scattered across, as far as the eye could go. While some were forced to say goodbye to the planet they loved, some weren't so lucky. Some were killed, some escaped, some were called and enslaved, the grieving woman just started there grieving.

‎ He looked down at her with pity. "He caused it" he said and paused to see if she would move a muscle, she didn't. He continued " the death of your twin boys, Rio and Bio". He looked up to the stars or just one, the rest were covered with the tick smoke and dust that rose from the calamity. "They were lonely kids" he continued " Rio and Bio, together meaning 'water of life'. Never in trouble, filled with joy and had the best mom in the universe. Hmmm, only if they said that to your face 'ohh, what a great mom we have, oh she is the best mom ever, oh...."

‎ "Stop....., please" she help his lag and begged. "Who are you ?" she questioned.

‎ "The guy here to change your life" he responded with a soft voice. They steared at theirself for a while before he spoke again.

‎ " The world needs you now, more than ever. A kind and loving soul who would do anything for those she loves, even when they don't. I have a question for you". The tension rises, noice reduced, temperature drops as she buckles up for the big question. With a straight posture he clears his troat as he prepares to speak.

‎ With a deep and very serious voice he asked " Elena Anabel, daughter of Hehinab, are you in...., or out ?"
