Violet pulled Myles and wiped the tears off of her face. She glared at the arena referee, who remained in his position.
The voice of the Guardian of Scarlet Bond echoed behind her, "Oh, my dear little mistress, you have survived. You really won."
Violet sharply turned her head and glared at her with bloodshot eyes. She said, "You almost killed me, auntie!"
The Guardian of Scarlet Bond was about to fan herself when she raised her hands, with her right hand grasping the hand fan, and said, "In the first place, you said it yourself, the knight's purpose is to protect you. If he failed to do so out of carelessness, then he failed at his service."
She grinned. "At an expense of your life."
Violet growled. She did not expect her auntie to be decisive and indifferent to her life. She was unable to say anything.
