She hated the fact that even sick, Lucian was terrifyingly attractive. Which was why her hands flew to his chest, sinking in, but forcing herself to push him back.
When she couldn't move him an inch, as his whole weight was pressing against her. She took three steps back, trying to find her breath.
Lucian on the other hand was enjoying this game of chase. He wasn't thinking she was setting boundaries, no, but that she was making him work for it.

The bandage around his head made his features look even more defined and more dangerous to Brianna. It had just been the way he lazily, though intensely let his eyes run over her body.
