"How was your day?" Silena asked me as the two of us lay in bed to sleep.
"It's odd" I answered her, "Have we as people became so desensitize with everything?"
"Why do you said that?" Silena shuffled towards me, "What happened?"
"I was at a crime scene. It was terrible" I said running a hand on my hair, "I understand the concepts and everything but i just. When it was in front of me the evidence that people can truly die. It's this sensation of- Vulna how do you say it?"
"Vulnerability" She corrected.
"Right, That in fact people do die and i might too" I added.
She snapped her fingers together, "Just like that" Silena then shuffled much more closer to me, "Did it makes you wonder about life?"
"Yeah" I held her hand, running my thumb against her skin, "I think about what i'm doing"
I pulled her closer, embracing her into my arms, "About us"
"Hmmn" Silena hummed at my words, "Seems like your third leg think so too"
I blushed, "It was supposed to be romantic"
"Sure did" Silena chuckled, "It's fine"
As we are about to kiss, i heard my phone ring and immediately accepted it.
'Go to the office, NOW" Chief Simon commanded.
"I need to go" I said to Silena pulling away from her, I then grab my jacket, draping it over myself.
Before leaving i make sure to give her a small peck on the cheek.
