The giant didn't have any ranged weaponry, as his only weapons were the two gauntlets on his hands. So he had no choice but to try to approach Greg again. This caused their cat-and-mouse chase to resume.

But Greg had no plans do something so stupid. He also had no plans to make it easy for the giant to approach him. His Life Ability was constantly producing fire birds that exploded in the giant's face.
