Fenrir changed, and so did the energy threads. The energy threads finished spreading to every part of his body, including his brain. Then they congregated at the base of his brain on the middle of his brain stem and began fusing there.
The energy threads didn't fuse completely after converging on his brain stem, though. Only two of them fused immediately. As for the rest, he would have to make them fuse manually.
But that is for the future. For now, he has successfully advanced to rank 3. So he has a lot to get used to.
He wanted to see how much he had changed after the breakthrough, so he immediately used the Power Identification Ability on himself.
