The clones fall silent for a few minutes as they think about the many new opportunities they have in their new life and the people who helped them on earth and the gods helping them in this life. Finally after about 15 minutes of pleasant peaceful reflection Hiper breaks the silence. "Well are we going to summon our new clones? Let's go to the guard tower So the vampires can go down to the basement and we won't have to go far to transform into a dragon. Although we will need to figure out a place to summon our full vampire dragon form and keep it away from the sunlight." "Yes thank you we were lost in thought weren't we? Let's go." The other two agree and the three clones leave the shrine headed towards the Drawbridge and guard tower.
Once at the tower they first head to the basement and enter the one of the nearest storage areas where they store building and digestion supplies and put a lot of rocks and logs in the spatial storage bag and then head back up to the second floor of the tower. There they sit down and eat until their bellies are bigger wide than even Tako is tall. Then the hold hands while sitting in a line and focus on making clones their digestion control is much better than the last time they did this so 45 minutes later there is a vampire human clone. They then rinse and repeat the process, another 45 minutes for the vampire tiefling. After that it's 45 minutes for a vampire dragonkin.
Okay there are our vampire clones but honestly I feel as if we can do more normal clones and not just one more for the dragonkin clone, lets keep going until we feel we have to stop. So the 6 clones Eat their fill and sit holding hands and digesting for another 45 minutes and form another dragonkin clone. After that they go again and 45 minutes later clone number 8 is formed also in dragonkin form. But they don't feel the need to stop there so they go again. another 45 minutes and clone 9 is formed, then clone 10, Then clone 11 and even clone 12. Finally after the 12th clone they feel the need to stop for now.
Tako speaks taking charge like regular, as the first body it makes sense for them to be in charge, no one objects as they are all the same person after all. "Alright it looks like 9 normal clones are our limit for now, but remember the way that Krisha worded it means we have the ability to gain more forms to shapeshift into. But we will have to figure out how to gain a wider variety of clones later for now lets focus on giving everyone a name. So first off Normal clone number 4, you will be our first full time dragon so you get to be Talon. The Vampire dragonkin will be Zarion, The Human Vampire will be Krystal, and the Tiefling vampire will be Seylus. Normal clone number 5 will be Patches, Number 6 Will be Hamish, Number 7 will be Greyus, number 8 is Dee and number 9 will be Kuro. And lastly to get ahead of it The name of our Vampire Dragon clone will be Dalman."
"Now that we have that out of the way The vampires will Stay here in the guard tower for now, or they can move to the basement or the connected barracks. But their main task will be watching at night so they should get some rest for now. Talon You will turn into our dragon form and be in charge of hunting and retrieving large prey until sunset. Patches, Hamish, Greyus, Dee, and Kuro, Will also be hunting and gathering until the celebration at sunset. Hiper, Justine and Myself will be doing other preparations around the Tako Tree Tower. Now lets break and Have fun in this new World. oh and remember to dress in the spare sets of clothes.
The clones all get dressed go their separate ways, the vampires head to the barracks to get some rest and soon its just the original 3 clones sitting in the second floor of the drawbridge tower and talon. Talon stayed behind and naked so that Tako can check out the dragon form first, it is a new form after all. Sure the vampires were also technically new forms but aside from slightly longer canine teeth there really wasn't much of a difference between the vampire and normal forms. "I still can't believe How many clones we were able to make, That took most of our storage of logs and rocks, good thing we sent Patches and Hamish off with the spatial storage bags to bring back as much as possible."
"Now lets get a look at our new dragon form I can't wait any longer at this point, I mean it's already been around 8 hours since we were told we have a Dragon form now so lets go to the roof immediately." The 4 clones quickly head up to the rooftop of the drawbridge tower and the 3 original clones go under the pavilion giving Talon plenty of space to Transform. Talon breathes and Starts to grow, quickly standing on all 4's as the limbs all change into the legs of a dragon and their wings grow rapidly. Pretty soon most of the tower rooftop is filled with the form of a young western dragon. When their neck is fully raised they stand 25 feet tall, with a wingspan of 50 feet and a length from head to tail 40 feet with most of the length being in their neck and their tail with is hanging in the air off of the tower. The scales are mostly all one dark purple color with an iridescent shine that also makes them blue at the same time and the belly and lower neck and bottom of the tail scales are a lighter color of the same dual color. The dragon head has 6 long wavy white horns coming out of the sides of the back of the head like a unique crown.
"Now that is a nice beautiful dragon form if I do say so myself." Tako says and whistles in appreciation. "And I have to admit that Brash was right our scales will definitely fetch a high price, I bet there aren't many iridescent dual colored dragons out there. I also wonder if we will ever shed our horns, if so those will sell nicely as well. Now that we have had a good look at our new form why don't you fly off and try to bring back another boar or 2." They say with a smile and the 3 original clones have to brace themselves against the wind of their mighty wings as Talon jumps into the air and flies off. The 3 clones watch Talon's form disappear into the tree tops, talon finding their way above the massive trees in order to have room to maneuver freely since they are still getting used to their new form.
"Now lets start preparing things. Hamish already brought the cauldron up here and dropped off the pans at the kitchen but we are going to wait to cook until the actual celebration time so that we have all the prey and food to cook with at the same time. But there are other things to do, like build an area for cloning ourselves a vampire dragon. And what better place than a massive house up in the branches? We've had a plan to grow stairs out of the tree for most of the week so lets get started on that and see how far we can get."
The three clones then move to the base of the tree and use their grow spell to grow a natural staircase out of the tree 5 feet wide. Yes they plan to install a vine and wood elevator at some point but you need to start somewhere. Much to their surprise they still feel like they have plenty of mana to spare by the time they reach the level of the first branches 80 feet up. However they are refusing to check their status until the end to the celebration later, a dramatic bit and all that, you need to have fun after all. they continue the stairs to about 300 feet up where there is a big junction and the trunk actually divides out and it looks like the perfect place to build a Dragons lair in the trees.
First they use Plant bending to widen the area a bit by making the everything except the center branch spread out straight sideways before going up. Then they use grow to grow wood and branches to fill the gaps, and use plantbending to make it all weave together nicely until they have a 100 foot wide circular room that has 4 20 foot wide and 30 feet tall entrances that each have 40 foot landing platforms and the room itself is domed and 50 feet tall at the center with only that one main branch sticking straight up through the center. They weave wooden doors that swing both ways for the entrances and add widows with black out wooden shutters.
Once they are done with that after about they have Patches and Hamish drop off the 2nd load of rocks and logs in the room and then transform into their dragon form in order to eat it all. Then they spend another hour forming A vampire dragon clone and once the dragon is formed it looks basically the same as their other dragon form except for 2 teeth that are longer than the others. Luckily they find that the teeth are retractable so that Dalman doesn't have to look like a Saber toothed dragon at all Times.
After that it's time to bring stone up into the Tako Tree Tower Top using so that they can have firepits and cook the many prey and stews for the celebration. They also used plantbending to make closeable vents in the top of the great room. to let out the smoke but not let daylight in. Once that has been completed its time to fill the Large cauldron with water, make a second cauldron out of their own Iron. Then they gather all the ingredients for the stew up there as well as every item they haven't eaten so far and Have been gathering for most of the week, which is quite a lot. And finally have all the clones start gathering in the tree top as well.
While waiting for all the clones to gather they start skinning and defeathering and bleeding the current prey. 6 Large Forest sea bristleback boars, (Talon got pretty lucky and found 3 close together and 2 more by themselves) 1 Large Forest sea blue wolf, 38 Horned rabbits and 21 Flyk's. They make sure to save the blood in several large earthen bowls for the vampires. They also make sure to gather everything valuable from horns, tusks and claws to even the core stones that form from the collapse of the mana organ upon death. The bigger stones come from bigger creatures and are more valuable, but the thing that makes them most valuable is the color. Black stones come from the weakest cores, then red, brown, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, indigo, purple, pink, and white. And luckily for the clones one of the boars had a cyan and 3 of the rabbits had green along with the wolf, and 5 of the flyk's.
About 90 minutes later after the sun has set and all the clones have gathered and all of the prey have had any valuable part removed it's finally time to go about starting the long awaited end of day 7 celebration party. Ther we is only one minor hold up, the approaching party of 9 strangers.
