A sword was stabbing through my shoulder, I looked at the Player while feeling the worst pain ever.
A screen came in front of me...and the task was finally over.
And suddenly the Player fell on me, everyone started falling down...and the game had finally ended. I finally took a deep breath and raised my arm making a fist and said, "...The game has finally ended..."
But I didn't understand...how am I going to stand? Why they all were falling on me? I couldn't stand like this, I was sure about it... and I wanted to go to station to look everyone.
But...how am I going to stand now? The sword is still passing through my shoulders and I don't know how can I even stand.
"Looks like you need help, or would you like to keep on sleeping and hugging by everyone? Is it fun?"
I heard a woman's voice...I was angry but stayed calm and replied normally to the woman whose face I can't see because of everyone lying on me.
"Please...help me, if you can."
"I like the way you're requesting. I think I should help you."
I was a little bit angry from inside by the way she was saying, but at least she was helping. I didn't know who she is, but if she's really going to help me, then that's good... otherwise I am betting my life on her, she can kill me if she wants, but I believed in her.
The woman pushed the Player lying on me aside and the sword disappointed and I finally saw the Crimson Sky once again.
I was exhausted, but I tried to sit and a hand came to me and the woman said, "This is the last time I can help you, as you passed this task."
I looked at the woman...and she was completely different from other. She was beautiful, having white long hairs and in a black dress...but she also had cat ears, which surprised me.
But I just hold her hand and stood properly. The woman took her hand back and said, "Congratulations for passing the Invader Task."
I finally stood away from all the Players, all were still lying on the road on each other, sleeping. I looked at the woman and replied, "Congratulations to you as well--"
The woman smiled, "Why do you say that?"
I was confused, "Aren't you another Invader?"
The woman smiled and shook her head and said, "Nope, I am just a developer of this game."
I was shocked...
"Although, I am also a player, but more developer and my work is to just help and assist. As you passed the task, you could ask for two helps which is over. But that's all."
I was shocked, "...What...? You are the one... who started this?"
"Well, I am from the team who started this."
I gave a sigh, I can't do anything, and fighting with her and trying to ask her why did she do would be just useless. And the two helps were enough, at least I was able to stand and get out of the sleeping crowd, otherwise I would have died by suffocation anyways.
I took another turn, started walking away and said, "Thanks for your all help"
"No problem dear!"
My body shook with chills, "...dear..."
The woman started floating from the ground and continued following me and said, "If you want to ask anything about how the game works or something related to it, you can ask right now. I will be there for fifteen minutes, any questions."
It would be foolish if I asked why they do that, because they won't answer it for sure or would reply they wanted to enjoy. So it's just a waste of time.
"Or if you need any questions, anytime then System will be there."
I smiled with a sweat, I guess the woman loves to talk a lot. I thought for a second, while walking to the station in another road which was having no Player lying on the ground, and asked the woman.
"What is this game?"
The woman started sweating, "...I should have already left, I just never wanted that question."
...So I am a fool...I started sweating, accepting it but I had no idea what's this. I don't even know the name of the question.
"Well, this is Ocean of Heaven And Hell, and I guess you know about this game."
I remembered and said, "Yeah, so that game has became reality now?"
"You know the rest, about the game, right?"
I gave a sigh and said, "Yeah. I have played it before."
The woman was relieved, "Great that you already know, you don't need explanation, do you?"
"No" She was really making me feel that I am dumb guy...which I would be, maybe. The woman smiled and she stopped and said, "I will leave now. Everything is fine right now, but... the second task will start soon, I can't tell but be prepared for it. And I hope..."
"...to never see you."
"...to see you."
I was frozen...I said wrong, she said to see me while I said opposite at the same time. I stopped and looked back at her and she started flying and shook her hand, saying goodbye and she disappeared.
I turned again and started walking to the station.
I was glad that everyone made a survival. I continued walking and finally reached to the station entrance.
The gates were still closed, or they were locked or they all were stuck inside the train as the train was lying down. Although some were trying to open the door and get free and I smiled and walked to them.
"I hope I could help them."
