Stretching awake i look at the time, 6:05 AM.
"Okay lets get up and get ready for the day" I say to myself before flinging the blanket off of me and swinging my feet to the edge of the bed before sliding my slippers on and walking out of the room to my son's room Leroy.
Leroy is a 5-year-old little boy he has dimples and the most charming little smile with curly hair. His skin complexion is a nice light-skinned color from his dad being full black and his mom being white and Puerto Rican.
"Wake up buddy we've got to get ready for school, what do you want for breakfast?"
"Good morning mommy" he said sleepily while rubbing his eyes and reading for me,
I pick him up and bring him to his connected bathroom.
"Brush your teeth and take a shower, and what would you like to eat?"
"mmmm can we haveeee bacon and eggs and pancakes with orange juice?"
"Of course buddy, when you are all done come downstairs so you can eat"

But I have long black curly hair im on the pale white complexion and have a somewhat curvy body i am 5'6 which is the normal height for a shifter. But enough about me.
I step down the last step of the stairs before making my way to the kitchen ace starting breakfast. Once I'm done Leroy comes running into the kitchen in his school uniform. He sits down at the table and I place a plate in front of him and head to the cabinet to grab a cup i placed that in front of him then fill it with orange juice. I fixed myself a plate and we started eating.
Once we are done i grab our plates discarding the food he didn't finish in the trash then rinse our plates and set them in the dishwasher.
"Go watch TV in the living room so I can get ready okay?"
" okay mommy " he says before running off to the living room while I go to the stairs.
Once I'm done with my routine i get dressed in this flimsy work outfit which is pretty much like the Hooters outfit but just way more flashy i throw on sweats on top and just a regular shirt so Leroy won't see me in it. I head downstairs and grab my heels and put them in my duffel bag for work and throw on my Crocs.
"Come on love bug put your shoes on we gotta go its 7:30" I say looking at the time on the stove.
Leroy comes into the front hallway, he sat on the floor and started to put his shoes on. When he's done i crouch down and tie them up before grabbing his bag and mine and heading to the car.
I opened the door for him to climb into his booster seat and he buckled himself in i handed him his backpack and closed the door before getting into the driver's side and driving off to his school.
When we arrived it was 8:08. Perfect timing!Mrs.Buick came and opened the door for him, he unbuckled his seat belt and grabbed his backpack turned towards me, and kissed me on the cheek.
"bye mommy i love you i see you after school"
"bye baby i love you too be good no fights today okay?
"okay mommy" he says with a smile jumping out of the car abd waving bye before Mrs.Buick closed the door waving. I waved back before pulling away from the school and towards the hellhole of a job.
I arrived at work at 9:00 am on time thankfully.
I walk in through the back door and go into the back room and take off my clothes so I'm in the work uniform i grab out my heels from the duffle bag and slide them on before grabbing some of my perfume and doing a few spritzes of it and walking out to get people's orders for drinks.
Some time had past and it is now almost 1 in the afternoon. I'm cleaning and drying cups off when I smell something that snatches my nose its a weird but good smell like apple and the rain forest but also like mango? And then also Christmas trees i dont know its weird its toxicating.
I searched the whole room looking for where that amazing smell is coming from then I looked up to the VIP secontion and there he stands a man with an amazing build and a small little afro with a Goatee his eyes are a hazelnut color gorgeous if you were to ask me his skin is a nice milk chocolate color. And he's staring right back at me. i dont know what had possessed me to do this but the next thing ik im lifting the little thing to exit from behind the bar and start walking to the vip section.
I was about to walk up the stairss but a pair of arms grabbed
"You can't go up there miss"
"MOVE GET OFF OF ME I NEED TO GET TO THEM MOVE" I shout trying to get out of the deathly strong grip the grips strong enough for me to know this isn't a human at all
"No you can't go up there your not VIP"
"I DO NOT CARE LET ME GO"
"The lady said let her go ryder" A deep low voice spoke it was rough and hard he said it with force Like he was trying to hold back from doing something. With that, the man who held me let me go and walked towards the man slowly staring into those beautiful eyes. The closer I got the more his scent was suffocating me the more I felt like i couldnt breathe his sent was so strong.
