In my first life, I was the devoted Queen. I waited two months for my husband, King Lauren, to return from the front lines—only for him to walk through the palace gates with a beautiful young maiden by his side and a decree in his hand: ‘She would be the new Queen’.
And because of that evil beauty he brought to our kingdom, I died a discarded "nobody," executed for a crime I didn't commit.

The moment I arrived at the scene, I couldn't believe my eyes.


They were pulling at each other's hair and Deborah somehow pushed Peculiar to the wall and hit her head against it and they kept the silly fight on until Deborah burst into laughter.


It was weird seeing them this way, especially with how Deborah positioned herself in front of Peculiar while glaring into her eyes as she stopped laughing and said something I didn't quite hear but knew was serious.


I quickly called her name to make her stop and it worked. She stopped but she didn't let go of Peculiar just yet.


"Let her go." I firmly ordered but she still didn't let go as she kept glaring at Peculiar like she was going to eat her alive.


"DEBORAH!" I called again with a little more force and that was when she forcefully pushed Peculiar against the wall in frustration before distancing herself from her, then she faced me.
