Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: Clones, Crimson Hearts, and Heaven’s Gaze

Reeve stood in the open field of Astra Nox—his world—arms crossed, eyes glowing faintly.

"So this is Clone Creator…"

Mana rippled around him.

One clone formed.

Then two.

Three.

Four.

Five.

Each stood perfectly still, breathing, alive—independent.

"…Sugoi," Reeve muttered, impressed.

Then a mischievous thought crossed his mind.

Let's scare her a little…

He dismissed four clones and moved toward the castle, only to stop.

Standing near the corridor—

The Vampire Queen.

Dressed in her crimson-black gown, moonlight brushing her pale skin.

"…Ah," Reeve thought. "Bad timing."

Without hesitation, Reeve activated his first clone.

The clone stretched lazily and walked toward the queen.

"I'm going to sleep," the clone said casually.

The Vampire Queen blinked.

"…Sleep? You were just outside."

Before she could think further, another clone appeared from the hallway.

"Excuse me," the second clone asked politely, "where is the little girl?"

The queen replied instinctively,

"She's asleep… in her room."

Then—

She froze.

Her eyes narrowed.

"…You said you were going to sleep," she said slowly.

"So how did you come from outside?"

The first clone tilted his head.

"…What?"

The second clone looked at the first.

"…What?"

The queen's heart skipped.

Her breath caught.

Two… Reeve?

Her chest tightened.

Her mind raced.

Clones? Illusions? Or…

Her face heated.

A dangerous, impossible thought bloomed.

Am I… falling for him?

Before she could process it—

The real Reeve walked in.

"…Hey."

The Vampire Queen turned.

Their eyes met.

Her face instantly turned crimson.

She said nothing.

Not a word.

She turned sharply and walked past him, exiting the hall with hurried steps.

"…Huh?" Reeve blinked. "Did I do something?"

She didn't answer.

Outside, her hand pressed against her chest.

Calm down.

This is ridiculous.

She whispered softly—

"…He's real."

Scene Shift — Heaven

White marble halls stretched endlessly, glowing with divine light.

Angels gathered, wings folded tightly, voices sharp with disbelief.

"She's alive."

"How is the child alive?"

"We erased the vampire race."

A screen of light showed an image—

A small girl sleeping peacefully.

Her name echoed among the angels.

Lilithra

(a soft, innocent name hiding ancient blood)

Then—

Footsteps.

A man walked into the hall.

He looked human.

Plain clothes. Calm eyes.

Yet every angel knelt instantly.

Fear rippled through Heaven.

"…She lives," the man said quietly.

One angel trembled.

"But—You ordered the extermination."

"I did," the man replied coldly.

"Only one was spared."

"…The Vampire Queen."

Another angel asked hesitantly,

"What about the man with the child?"

The man's eyes darkened.

His name echoed like a curse.

Aurelion.

"…Kill him," Aurelion said simply.

Silence followed.

Three angels stepped forward.

Their wings unfolded—sharp, radiant, merciless.

"As you command."

---

Scene Shift — Grimfang Wastes Border

Three figures descended from the sky.

Their feet touched the cracked earth softly.

Golden eyes scanned the land.

"The child is near."

"Move."

They began walking toward Grimfang Wastes.

Toward Lilithra.

Toward Reeve.

---

Back to Astra Nox

The Vampire Queen stood alone, confused, unsettled.

Why does my heart react like this…?

Footsteps approached.

Reeve stood before her.

"…Hey. Are you okay?"

She looked at him.

Slowly reached out—

And touched his hand.

Warm.

Real.

Her breath steadied.

Without another word, she turned and walked outside again, whispering softly—

"…He's real."

Above them—

Heaven had already chosen war.
