The boys had arrived at the area and had settled down to pick a campsite for the campfire.
Since ricky was the strongest, it was decided that he would carry most of the load, while Jimmy and Alan would scout the area and Aaron would check for traps or predator territory to be sure they weren't headed for a puma or bear turf.
" All clear here", Aaron said as he scanned the entire area for any leftovers from wild animals, "apart from a few deer in the distance, there were no other animals to be worried about", he added as he stepped out of the bushes. " Okay, that's settled, how's the tent building going Ricky?", Alan asked as he mapped out the area while Jimmy set a few bear traps and joined the rest.
"It's finished, all that's left is the campfire and we'll have ourselves a complete camp", Ricky assured the boys as Jimmy left to grab an axe in the car's trunk. " I have a lighter in my backpack ", Aaron said as he thrust his hands into his pockets.
After a few hours of effort to chop down trees to get firewood, they finally lit the campfire with the help of a half full can of petrol and started to roast marshmallows as the sun slowly set in the distance.
The boys chatted, told each other stories, played board games and started to enter their tents after hours of discussion. " Our activities of exploration and filming starts tomorrow, try to get a good night sleep alright ", Alan said as he pulled over the blanket over his head and dozed off...
The sky turned dark as a purple beam of light briefly flashed in the sky and the figure emerged from the shadows as he muttered to himself..... °I choose you, mortal°.
In a mysterious realm, a few beings were watching Alan and his friends as they went to sleep. **Mortals, so weak and frail, I can't believe that brine dumped us for these...weak lifeforms, and it just had to be HUMANS!!**, a figure with green eyes said in anger as there was indistinct chattering. Then all of a sudden, there was a deathly silence as a being far bigger than the other gods spoke. " I evael eht tser ot you, Arkhinhar ", the colossal god pointed at a humanoid god with a bear head casually drinking lava from a cup of molten magma as the god stood up and stared at Alan. ** Consider it done, Chrono**, Arkhinhar bowed his head low and disappeared.
Alan woke up to a low growl as a bear covered in fire and blood was staring at him with empty black eyes. " What the f....".... Alan's exclamation was cut short as he narrowly dodged the swat of the demon bear's limb which smashed the tent into the ground and created a crater.
The noise from the commotion abruptly woke the boys up as everyone was shocked to see a creature that wasn't supposed to exist on earth at all. " What the hell is that? ", Aaron and Jimmy asked as they took slow steps backward while their voices diverted the bear towards them as the empty eye sockets with blood flowing out of it faced them with pure bloodlust.
(It has no eyes, but I feel such pressure from it), Aaron thought to himself as the bear suddenly spoke!.
° Mortalllsssssssss.....°, the bear said aloud as it turned towards Alan and was about to leap on him when an axe hit its neck and magma spilled out, setting Ricky's jacket on fire as the wound closed as soon as it opened much to everyone's surprise. " It took a hit like that without any sign of damage ", Jimmy said as he ran to the car trunk and pulled out a shotgun and aimed it at the bear whose attention was directed to Ricky. All of a sudden it stood on two feet, towering above the boys as they seemed like cats to the demon.
Jimmy gasped as there was a purple flamelike orb on its chest and thought to himself.... ( Bingo, I knew a giant of that size should have a weak point, damn, this looks like a failed secret government project, the authorities better have an explanation for all this....).
The bear roared as magma spilled out of its mouth and burned Ricky as he yelled in pain, prompting Aaron to dive into the bushes in search of a weapon while Jimmy hesitated for a moment, then aimed the shotgun at its chest....
" On my count, one, two,....", Alan slowly and quietly motioned to Jimmy and watched the beast's movement as it cornered an injured Ricky, then all of a sudden its mouth glowed as an orb of flame materialized into existence and was aimed at Ricky....
(Oh no!, Ricky can't survive whatever that is), Alan and Aaron thought to themselves as the orb got bigger and bigger until.....
" NOW! ", Alan yelled as Jimmy pulled the trigger on the shotgun which hit the bear directly, piercing its chest as the beam of fire that would have killed Ricky was released into the distance, searing Aaron's leg as the hot sticky liquid charred the forest's thick growth to a crisp for miles and miles and the bear momentarily fell to the ground with a loud bang.
The boys were panting heavily as Aaron's groans were heard in the charred bushes and Jimmy dropped the shotgun while rushing to Aaron to help him up. " Fuck, what the heck was that? ", Aaron asked himself as Jimmy helped him sit on a nearby stump. " I think we should call the authorities and get the hell outta here ", Alan said as he helped Ricky up while dusting the ashes off his jacket while Jimmy bandaged Aaron's leg.
But their discussion was cut short as the bear growled slowly and stood up with flames in its eyes... °°It seems humans are not as weak as we thought, brine, you really found a willed leader, I'll give that to ya, too bad though....,
"What the heck is he saying...", Ricky asked, not expecting an answer when... °°CAUSE HE'S GONNA DIE!!!°°.
The bear roared as magma erupted from the ground, which shaped itself into blades as they flew towards Alan in an attempt to slice him in half, but for a moment Alan's body reacted before he could think, throwing a backflip as three of the blades narrowly missed him and sliced twenty seven trees in half and burned them to a crisp as the boys gasped in shock while Alan was dumbfounded by his sudden movement.
"I never knew I could move at this speed bef-". Alan's thought was cut midway as a voice boomed in his head like a thunderbolt. ° you can't, I prevented you from dying by possessing your body temporarily, you've really did it this time Arkhinhar °, the figure said as he took control of Alan's body and leapt high in the sky and aimed his hand at the bear, only for nothing to happen as he got whacked away into a tree.
° I almost forgot the fact that this realm doesn't permit our powers, and my host's body isn't strong enough for me to use brute force to beat the living shit outta this fucking bear °, the figure said as he stepped out of the smoke and spat some blood as a glow was faintly visible in his eyes much to everyone's surprise.
" When did Alan have such power? ", Aaron, Jimmy and Ricky said in unison as Alan looked at the demon bear with an eye that was not his, but an eerie white glow as he moved at a hypersonic speed and punched the bear, shattering his left arm and burning it as the bear was sent flying and crashing into a boulder while Alan was about to collapse when Aaron and Ricky caught him a second early.
°" it won't *cough*, hold for long *cough*, run!"°, Alan yelled as the boys scampered to gather equipment and ran back to help him up. " What're you d-doing, I said go, I'll hold him off-. " Shut up bro,do you know what Flora will do to me if you died, let alone mom and dad, bruh we ain't leaving you behind ", Jimmy said with a reassuring smile as they limped into the forest, while Ricky was behind and Aaron was ahead, scouting for any more traps and maybe more of those things.....
° ugh, brine, you really outdid yourself this time, notch won't be pleased at this °, the bear's eyes turned black again as it located the boys with minimal effort through infrared vision and saw Alan, then grinned evilly as it disappeared.

The boys had moved deeper into the forest only to find that the burn trail had spread for miles and miles as it had split a mountain into half and faded due to the fact that the fires were reduced as they went further.
" We need to keep moving ", Jimmy said as he put Alan on the ground and bandaged his burnt arm, while he pulled his shirt up and gasped in shock as Alan's bones protruded out of his side while blood soaked his shirt. " What the fuck, he's not gonna make it if we don't hurry ", Jimmy said in panic as Alan could barely speak, " r-run, he's c-coming this w-way ", Alan said hoarsely as he stood upright, much to everyone's surprise as a loud roar was heard in the distance, forcing the tired boys to run, ignoring the pain alerts that their body kept imposing on them.
All of a sudden, the bear leapt to the sky and landed in front of them, stunning them as a magma blade was about to slice Alan again when Ricky jumped in the way and.....
" Ricky noooooo!!!!! ", Jimmy shouted as the blades ripped their friend in half right before their eyes and blood spilled on them... " No, no, no ", Jimmy said while memories of him and Ricky flashed through his eyes as he fell to his knees while Aaron pulled him up and started to run towards the mountains while Alan was still there, gazing into the sky with tears flowing down as the bear lifted its forelimb to whack him, he stopped the hit with his injured arm as he spurted blood and smiled, then, with eyes glowing like a star, he slammed the ground with great force, causing the ground to collapse in on itself, sacrificing himself to kill the bear while...
** I choose you for a reason, so you are not dying, not here, not now! **, the figure said as he took control of Alan's body once more, leaping from the falling rocks as he jumped out, leaving the bear to fall to his death as it started to rain while Alan fell back into the hole....
° mission failed, I'm sorry chrono °, the bear said as he fell to the center of the earth and the lava absorbed him while the hole closed, leaving a portal beneath as water filled the hole.
While Alan fell into the water and sank to the bottom, his family's memories, school memories, teen memories all flashed before him as tears formed on his eyes and he got sucked into the portal which glowed with an ominous purple light and flickered out of existence.
