The light surrounding Lucifer and Celeste begins to soften, becoming a blue-silver glow that pulses around them like the beating of a heart. In the dream—or in what Celeste believes to be just another dream—the banished angel cups her face with tenderness, as careful as a being made of pure light can be.

She feels the gentle warmth radiating from his hands, a warmth that does not burn, but comforts. As if, by touching her, he were drawing from her chest every fear, every doubt, every fragility she has carried throughout her life.

Lucifer watches her with intensity.

His eyes are not merely beautiful; they are deep, unfathomable. Within them lie centuries of solitude, wrath, and exile—but also something new, unexpected: wonder.

Wonder at her.

Celeste tries to speak, but cannot. The light enveloping the angel leaves her breathless—not because it suffocates her, but because it fills her too completely. Because it makes her feel that she belongs there, in that precise moment.

Lucifer leans closer, not to kiss her this time, but so his words will not be lost in the dream's wind.

"Celeste… there is something I need to tell you."

His voice is deep and enveloping, carrying a natural authority no king has ever possessed.

She tries to wake, tries to escape the enchantment that makes her vulnerable—but she cannot. And perhaps she does not want to.

"Why do I always see you like this?" she whispers, confused.

"Why do you come to my dreams?"

He smiles. Not with irony—but with tenderness. A smile that has never existed for any being created by God since the beginning of time.

"You are not merely dreaming of me, little Celeste.

You are seeing me."

The light around them intensifies, swirling like a veil of northern lights. Then he places his right hand over her chest, directly above her heart. The touch sends a wave of warmth through her entire body.

"Among all the souls on Earth… only you can see me as I am.

Only you pass through the light that covers me and perceive my essence."

Celeste's heart races. She does not understand. She does not know why she—a simple, humble young woman—would possess such an ability. But Lucifer continues:

"I wish to give you something I have never given to any mortal.

A right. A role. A bond that neither Heaven nor the Underworld can break."

He rests his forehead against hers. The light emanating from him merges with hers, creating a glow that seems alive.

"From this moment on, Celeste… you will be the one who can see me.

Not the image imposed upon me.

Not the myth. Not the monster. Not the banished angel.

But me.

My true self."

She releases a trembling breath, unable to resist. Lucifer adds softly:

"You will see my beauty, my pain, my light, and my fall.

You will see me when no one else can.

And because of that… you will never be alone."

His fingers touch her chin and lift her face once more. But this time, he does not kiss her. He only looks at her, as though sealing the pact with his gaze.

The light around them erupts in a gentle flash—and then everything fades.

Celeste awakens.

Her body is warm, as if it had truly been touched by something divine.

She brushes her fingers across her lips and once again tastes that unmistakable flavor—sunflower oil, soft, radiant, almost sweet.

And when she inhales deeply, she still senses his scent—lavender incense, so delicate it feels impossible.

She sits up in bed, breathless.

"No… it wasn't real.

It was just a dream. Just a dream…"

But her chest burns, as if it bears a mark.

She knows she dreamed—but she also knows it was not only that.

And in the Underworld, Lucifer opens his eyes.

The connection between them—the role only she now possesses—vibrates like a thread of light binding two worlds.

And he murmurs, satisfied:

"I will see her again."
