("This book continues directly after season one.")
Six months had passed.
Aaron sat alone in a luxury apartment, rich but hollow. The prize money couldn't silence the nightmares — screams, blood, Lia's face before the shot.
He never forgot.
But one rainy night, a package arrived. No address. No stamp. Inside:
*A photo. Of Lia. Alive. In a hospital gown.*
And one line: *"She played a different game."*
Aaron froze. Lia survived?
Attached was a black card with a new symbol — *a circle with an eye inside it*.
And a location: *"District 14 – Below Ground Level 3"*
He didn't think. He packed. He left.
What he found shocked him.
It wasn't over. A second phase of the Game existed — underground, hidden even from the winners. A place for "dead" players who had shown something… *different.*
Aaron was captured the moment he arrived.
Blindfolded. Injected. Darkness.
When he woke up, he was back in a new jumpsuit. A screen turned on.
*"Welcome to Level 2. You are not a winner anymore. You are a variable."*
Across from him… *Lia* stood. Alive. Weak, but breathing.
She looked at him with broken eyes. "Aaron… they lied to both of us."
And then, a siren blared.
*"Game 1 begins in 60 seconds. This time, you are not playing against strangers… You're playing against your past."*
Aaron looked around — and saw others wearing faces from his memories.
Dead players. Or their doubles?
He didn't know. But one thing was clear:
*This game was personal.*
