Sang Luo felt a vague sense of unease. She questioned Uncle Su and the other Beastmen, but couldn't get a clear answer.
A few days later, new word arrived.
"Queen, the seas have been rather turbulent lately. On Your Majesty's orders, we are to escort you away."
Sang Luo took a hard bite of the Spirit Fruit, its flavor an indescribable mix of sour and bitter. She then rose and strode forward, fixing the messenger with a cold, commanding glare. Her voice was resolute. "Every single one of you is hiding things from me. I know this is his wish, but I am both the Queen of the South Sea and Ah Ze's partner. If you keep me in the dark about everything from beginning to end, how can I possibly leave with any peace of mind?"
"It's not that we meant to hide it from you, we were just afraid of worrying you, Queen."
