What can you make with flour?
This brought to mind the rich and ancient cuisine of Ancient China. Steamed buns, dumplings, noodles... the list was practically endless, enough to astonish the entire world.
But the situation was urgent. Faced with hordes of starving, destitute Beastmen, a simple yet incredibly filling flour-based recipe suddenly came to An Jin's mind.
—Dough drop soup!
This rustic dough drop soup was suitable for all ages and required no special skill to make.
It was simply a matter of mixing flour and water into a thick paste, dropping it into boiling water, and tossing in some foraged wild vegetables and fruits. If available, one could even crack in a bird's egg or two. Finally, add some seasoning and wait for the dough drops to cook.
