Power System

Warrior: After rigorous training and drinking enhancement potions, one can Awaken their Aura (demi-beasts awaken their aura more easily than humans). A warrior's level is evaluated by their endurance and expert mastery of the aura (projecting aura to gauge an opponent, covering the body or sword with it, etc.). Their ranks range from F- to S+.

Aura: Aura is a pure physical energy that anyone can possess provided they train and push their body to its limits. It strengthens the body, making it more resistant and faster. One can cover objects with it to make them sharper, for example. As long as the body is not broken, a warrior can use aura, but it depends on their physical endurance.

Techniques: By using aura as a catalyst, warriors create methods to maximize their attacks. A technique can focus on speed, flexibility, or precision. Techniques do not require any particular physique, only hard training; obviously, a talented person will learn them faster. Some techniques are also better suited to a specific type of weapon (sword, spear, bow, halberd, shield...).

Arts: Very rare and powerful, Arts are created and perfected over several generations. They have the ability to confer special properties to aura without using mana. For example, an Art can give an explosive property to a warrior's aura. All Arts are equivalent in potential power; this depends on the level of mastery and the number of movements that compose them.

Not everyone can practice an Art simply by knowing the theory. One must have the necessary physical predispositions to learn it. Certain great families with long lineages possess Arts, a practice exclusively reserved for humans or demi-beasts.

Mage: After meditation while absorbing mana (from the air or mana stones), one forms the first mana circle in their body and becomes a first-circle mage (Yggdrasil elves become mages more easily than humans). Among humans, only nobles can generally form mana circles, depending on their talent. This talent is proportional to the amount of mana one can absorb from a mana stone in a single session.

Mages are classified from the first to the ninth circle. Their level is judged by their absorption capacity (the circle) and their level of understanding to create increasingly powerful spells. They learn basic spells, but a mage must create their own spells. Mages have superior destructive power compared to warriors, but in exchange, a seventh-circle mage only has the physique of a D-rank warrior.

Mana: Mana is a universal energy present in the air, like oxygen. However, only mages can store it in what is called a "mana heart." There are different types of mana:

· Pure mana, linked to elemental magic.

· Demonic mana, which comes from demons, the Fallen of Spectrum, monsters and their cores.

· Arcane mana, which comes from angels, Seraphs, and especially the paladins of the Holy Cathedral, as well as certain rare chosen ones.

Demonic mana and arcane mana are strictly opposed.

Magic: By using mana, a mage can cast spells. There are several types of magic:

· Elemental magic (Earth, Water, Fire, Ice, Wood, Wind, Lightning...). Some elements are rarer than others. For example, it is very rare for a human to master Ice magic, while it is more common for an elf of the Aqua clan. The Spina clan, for its part, mainly masters thorns. This is due to spiritual magic, unique to Yggdrasil elves. By bonding with a spirit, they can develop elemental magics and/or supernatural abilities (ex: spiritual vision, mana sense, flight, etc.).

· Spells (Sortilèges): These are dubious methods originating from the experiments of Babylon elves, using alchemy potions, fusion with an artifact, or genetic modification with other races. These practices develop varied abilities and are marked by the appearance of runes on the body of the dark elf who uses them. This is a practice exclusive to the dark elves of Babylon.

· Demonic magic: Using demonic mana, it allows the use of attributes such as: Blood, Bones, Darkness, Corruption, Illusion, Sulfur, Devouring, Enslavement, Death...

· Arcane magic: Using arcane mana, it allows the use of attributes such as: Light, Life, Time, Space, Gravity...

Only demi-beasts are known to be incapable of using mana and therefore magic. In exchange, they are naturally more physically powerful than all other races and can draw from their ancestral lineage to develop abilities or attributes linked to their blood. It is said that their ancestors were mythical beasts that inhabited these lands in ancient times.

Talent: Physical talent is overall important, especially for demi-beasts. For humans, magical talent is the ability to perfectly absorb mana into the body and retain it. It can be: Mediocre, Average, Superior, Epic, Legendary.

· All demi-beasts are Mediocre.

· Most human commoners are Average or Mediocre.

· Nobles are most often Superior or Epic.

· All elves are at minimum Superior.

· The seven legendary families are mostly of Legendary talent.

The awakening process consists of using a mana stone. A person at least 15 years old must absorb the mana. The stone then becomes increasingly translucent and luminous, proportional to the level of talent. The attribute for which the individual is most gifted manifests if their talent is at least Superior.

Magic Warrior: An individual who possesses both aura and a mana circle.

The Genesis: A state where a warrior or mage surpasses mortal limits. The level of a Transcendent is evaluated in Stars, from 1 to 9. They are extremely rare, and the only known ones are the leaders of the mortal world or powerful masters living in the shadows.

And with the supernatural ability called Genesis, a domain where their powers affect the surrounding world. Example: The Genesis of a Transcendent mage can transform a prairie into a domain of fire where only lava flows.
