PROLOGUE (18+ scene)
Aviella burst into a fit of laughter, clutching the blood-stained blade she had used to stab her victim.
She glared down at the man pinned beneath her. "Does it feel good? Answer me!" she screamed at him like a madwoman.
Instead of answering, he could only sob hysterically—a reaction that only fueled her irritation. "I said, answer me!" she bellowed again.
Since he remained unable to speak despite her repeated shouting, she decided to silence him for good.
"Fine, have it your way..." She wiped a spray of blood from her cheek and prepared to plunge the blade once more. "Aaaaaaagh!"
But before the blade could descend, someone grabbed her hands.
She squeezed her eyes shut in shock. Slowly, she opened them to see a familiar man standing before her.
She immediately wrapped her arms around him and whispered, "Let's go home... I'm scared," her voice soft and innocent, like a child who knew nothing of the world.
The man simply nodded and began walking away, leading her by his side.
Aviella leaned into his warmth, breathing in the fragrant scent that clung to him. Lost in his presence, she didn't realize they were already inside the car.
She studied his face—serious, his gaze piercing. "Are you okay?" he asked. "Next time you want to go out, you can just call me to accompany you... so you don't get caught up in trouble," he said in a cold tone.
"Trouble? That wasn't trouble. We were just having fun..." Aviella said sweetly.
"Psychopath. Be quiet."
She simply smiled and caressed the man's face, which was pale with lingering fear. To this day, he was the only one who hadn't given up on her.
What a psychopath, too.
