Chapter 1 - First day

"Welcome, my beloved and cherished students of Eldoria." The students immediately turned their attention forward. "You may already know, but allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sir Aristokles, and as the headmaster of Eldoria Academy, I wish to share some words of encouragement with you."

He opened a large book. "Good morning, everyone!"

The students listened to his speech, but there was one student who didn't seem to be paying attention. "Why did I end up in this academy! My mom enrolled me... And even more shocking, I got accepted!? I'm just an average student, I think... Damn it..." He muttered in his heart.

Yesterday.

"Hooray!! Accepted!!" A shout came from downstairs. "Accepted!? Mom, what's going on!?" He quickly got up from bed, hurried down the stairs, and went to the living room. "Mom, what happened?" He asked. "Hohoho, my dearest child, you have been accepted into Eldoria Academy!" she said excitedly, then hugged her child. "What... How is that possible!? I-I'm just an ordinary student!?" He asked. "So for the first time, Eldoria Academy is accepting students who are not from elite circles, so be a good child there, okay?" she replied.

Present day.

"I'll be a good kid, Mom..." He said to himself.

Suddenly, fireworks went off. "Whoa!? I'm startled... Suddenly it's already the closing ceremony..." He watched the new student admission ceremony.

After the event ended, the students rushed to the board to see which class they were assigned to. "Hmm... Class X B, okay." He walked away.

He walked down the hallway. "Class X B, where is it..." He kept walking and found it. "Oh, there it is!" He entered the classroom and looked at the faces that would become his classmates.

"Hmm... They look strong..." He sat in the back-left corner seat. "Damn, I'm nervous... Will I make friends... Will I be bullied." As he was talking to himself, someone suddenly approached him.

"Hi, can I sit with you?" they asked. "Oh, yes, sure." The person sat down beside him. "What's your name?" they continued. "My name is Vic Chano, what's yours?" he asked. "My name is Orion, nice to meet you." They shook hands. "Have you met the others?" asked Orion. "Not yet, you're the only one so far..." he replied while cleaning his glasses. "Are we going to start studying right away?" continued Chano. "Probably not, maybe just self-introductions."

While they were talking, a teacher entered the classroom. "Nice to meet you all, my name is Harry, I will be your homeroom teacher." The students whispered among themselves. "I hope he's a good teacher," whispered Orion. "Me too, if he's the strict type... I'm dead." Whispered Chano.

"Okay everyone, listen up. Today's activity is just self-introduction, after which you will choose your roommate for the dormitory." He opened the class journal and began roll call.

"Hmm... Roll number 23, Orion, introduce yourself." The students' eyes turned to Orion. "Oh uh... Yes." Orion stepped forward.

"Hello, my name is Orion. I'm not from an elite background, and I hope we can all be friends." He waved his hand. "Okay, did you all hear? What's his name?" said Professor Harry. "Orion, sir!" the students replied. "You may sit back down, Orion." Orion returned to his seat.

30 minutes passed after the introductions.

"Okay, that's everyone. So before we discuss the dormitory, I want to explain this academy's system." He walked to the blackboard.

"So, this academy will provide every student with a free phone... Yes, you heard that right." The students began whispering. "Its purpose is to protect your data, but don't worry, your privacy is safeguarded," he continued.

"A free phone? Isn't that crazy?" Orion whispered. "I think it's normal. Eldoria Academy always makes surprising moves that don't make sense," Chano whispered back.

"On that phone, there's an app for transactions. We do not accept external money. You will be given points for transactions if you do good things, such as getting good grades, often helping teachers, or performing other positive actions."

"Eldoria Academy is vast, like a city within a city, so you can feel at home." He explained, then one student raised their hand. "Sir, are we allowed to leave the academy grounds?" they asked.

"That's a good question. If you want to leave the academy grounds, you must request permission with a valid reason. If your reason is, for example, to buy food or meet someone close, that is not allowed. But that doesn't mean you can't meet your family." He continued writing on the blackboard. "You will be permitted to meet your family during semester breaks, winter break, and summer vacation." He sighed.

"I hope you all obey the rules. Now, please discuss who you want as your roommate. Remember, not the opposite gender, okay?"

He sat down in his chair and got busy with his laptop. "Orion, let's be roommates," Chano suggested. "Of course!" He shook his hand.

Four hours passed, and they were eating burgers. "I can't believe this academy is so huge..." Orion said. "Yeah, even elementary, middle school, and university students can be accepted here too..." They ate quietly.

Fifteen minutes later.

"Let's pay." Orion walked to the cashier and scanned the code to pay, but suddenly he was shoved by someone. "Hey! What's your problem? We're just trying to pay!" said Chano. "You dare challenge me, freshman?" the person said. "You damn bastard..." Suddenly, he was kicked in the head from behind. "Agh!" He fell to the ground. "Chano! You bastard!"
