How did i get into this position? Sat in bed inbetween his kids and him… my boss.
Some called him evil but when i joined the company by the name of JY productions,I didn't believe it, I mean how could everyone here be so nice when people say he is mean? It was like a mouse to a cheese trap, they lure you in with their sweet smiles just to torture you.
The minute I got into the JY productions building, I could tell something was off, the atmosphere was cold and the people had grimaces on their faces! I walked up to the front desk, I groaned internally. Why was Ivory blanchett here?? That woman was a living nightmare and if i had known she worked here I would have just gone for another job, if not for the pay i would leave right now.
" oh hey cicely!" She said, voice dripping with feigned sweetness,
" Hi ivory!" I said, quickly matching her kindness, her eyes glinted with annoyance but i continued walking, which i knew would annoy her more.
You see, Ivory blanchett was a mean and popular girl who I, fortunately, had to see everyday when i got home as she was my step sister, as my mother remarried after my father died and brought 2 of my least favourite people in the world to our home, but never mind that.
The lobby was decked in quartz like a five star hotel but i ignored that and walked straight upstairs. Oh shit, I was late. A massive door stood before me and I hesitantly knocked, a voice booming from the inside, " Come in,"
" Hello sir," I said, holding back the trembling in my voice but failing miserably.
" State the reason you are late and your name,"
" Im sorry there was traffic,"
" I asked for your name," he said, glaring at me like I had wasted half his life when I had wasted 10 seconds,
"Cicely. sir," I fumbled
" My name is Val and since I find you appealing you will be my assistant from now on," he said, a smirk tugging at his mouth.
" Of course, what do you need?"
" I have put some documents on your desk, go fill them out,"
And with that, I scurried out
Haiiii sorrrrryyy i know its short but im still figuring out how long chapters should be! The next chapter will be longer ( promise)
