In the previous chapter, we saw that while Anuradha and her mother were at the college, a terrorist attack suddenly took place.
Rohan finally returned home. He looked around the house carefully. Today, he was truly happy. After thirteen long years, he was finally about to meet his family again. Overwhelmed with joy, he started dancing alone inside the house.
"Today, after thirteen years, I'm going to meet my family," he said to himself.
"I don't know when Mom and Anu will come back… and I'm starving."
Suddenly, he remembered something.
Mom said she would cook food for me.
He went to take a bath first. After that, he entered the kitchen, took out the food, and just as he was about to take his first bite—
A neighbor aunt came running inside, screaming.
"Anu's mother! Anu's mother! Where are you? There has been a terrorist attack at Anu's college! Many people have been killed!"
She then noticed Rohan standing there.
The moment Rohan heard those words, the food slipped from his hand and fell to the ground.
The aunt looked at him and asked, "Who are you?"
After thinking for a moment, Rohan replied,
"I'm a relative. I came here for a few days."
Then he quickly asked,
"Auntie, can you please take me there? I'm new here, I don't know anything."
They both rushed outside. The aunt stopped an auto-rickshaw and told the driver to take them to the college immediately. The driver sped off without wasting a second.
As soon as Rohan reached the college, he ran inside.
What he saw looked nothing less than hell.
A massive crowd had gathered. Dozens of ambulances were lined up. Fire brigade teams were trying to control the fire. A huge police force was present. Parents were crying desperately for their children. Media reporters were everywhere, interviewing people.
One reporter asked the principal,
"Sir, why do you think a terrorist organization attacked this college?"
The principal replied,
"We don't know anything."
And then he ran away, crying.
Rohan started running through the crowd, desperately searching for his mother and sister. He couldn't find them alive anywhere.
"Anuradha! Anuradha!" he screamed again and again.
Hearing this, the principal stopped him.
"What is your sister's full name?" the principal asked.
"Anuradha Sharma," Rohan replied.
The principal froze for a moment.
Anuradha had no one except her mother… then who is this man?
He asked Rohan,
"What relation do you have with Anuradha?"
"I'm her distant relative," Rohan replied.
With a sorrowful face, the principal said,
"She and her mother are no longer in this world."
Hearing this, Rohan's mind went blank.
Inside his heart, he screamed—
What is this, God? Are you even real? When I was a child, you took my father away from me. Then you took my mother and sister's love away from me. And today, when I was finally about to get that love back… you took them away from me forever.
He broke down and started crying.
Then he asked the principal,
"Where are they right now?"
The principal took him to where the bodies were kept.
The moment Rohan saw the bodies of his mother and sister, his legs gave up, and he collapsed on the ground.
Their bodies were completely burned. They had turned black. No one could recognize them. Half of their flesh was burned away, and their bones were visible.
Something clicked in Rohan's mind.
He slowly looked at the principal.
The principal asked,
"What happened, son? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Nothing," Rohan replied calmly.
Then he asked,
"Can I take their bodies with me?"
"Yes," the principal said.
"I'm very sorry for what happened."
Rohan took the bodies with the help of the aunt and left.
As he walked away, one thought kept haunting him—
Why does nothing feel right?
Rohan took out his phone and made a call.
"I'm speaking," he said.
From the other side, a voice replied,
"Does 'I' have no name?"
Rohan said coldly,
"This is Young Reaper."
The voice instantly trembled.
"S-sorry, sir. I didn't know it was you."
"It's fine," Rohan said.
"Arrange a hospital for me. I need a post-mortem done."
"Okay, sir. I'll take permission from the leader and send you the hospital location."
"Hurry up. I don't have time."
Within minutes, Rohan received a message. He took his mother and sister's bodies to the hospital.
The hospital owner himself came to receive Rohan and escorted him inside. The entire staff was shocked. They had never seen their owner treat anyone like this.
The owner, whose name was Deepak, said respectfully,
"Sir, please sit and rest. We'll take care of everything. Would you like something to eat?"
Deepak took Rohan to a VIP room. The staff was stunned.
Deepak's secretary, Kajal, couldn't hold herself anymore.
"Who is this man?" she asked angrily.
"Why are you serving him like this?"
Deepak immediately slapped her.
"How dare you speak about him like that?" he shouted.
"I'll fire you from this hospital right now!"
Then he turned to Rohan and started apologizing.
Rohan said calmly,
"It's fine. Just make sure this doesn't happen again."
He looked at Kajal with cold eyes.
Kajal apologized to Deepak, but he said,
"If you want forgiveness, ask Rohan sir."
Kajal apologized to Rohan.
"It's okay," Rohan replied, and sat down silently.
A few hours later, Deepak returned with the post-mortem report.
"Sir, the report is ready," he said.
"If you don't mind… may I ask who these two women were?"
Rohan didn't answer.
"Tell me the result," he said.
Deepak swallowed hard.
"Sir… they didn't die in the terrorist attack. They were burned alive nearly two hours before the attack, after petrol was poured on them."
Rohan's fists clenched.
"And the eighteen-year-old girl…" Deepak continued,
"She was brutally raped after being forcefully given four tablets of Flibanserin. That dosage alone could have killed her. When she survived, she was burned alive."
"And the forty-five-year-old woman… she was raped by at least twenty to twenty-five men."
"The DNA reports confirm both bodies are related. Based on age, they appear to be mother and daughter."
The moment Rohan heard this, his blood began to boil.
The room felt suffocating.
Deepak felt an uncontrollable fear standing in front of him.
"Sir… did you know them? Were they related to you?" Deepak asked carefully.
"No," Rohan replied coldly.
"I was just passing by."
"Leave me alone for a while," he said.
As soon as Deepak left the room—
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Rohan screamed.
"Why… why did this happen?"
He cried uncontrollably.
Outside, the hospital staff gathered in fear.
Deepak warned them,
"No one talks about what happened here. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir," everyone replied.
After performing the last rites of his mother and sister, Rohan stood silently.
"Mom… Anu… I swear," he whispered,
"I will take revenge. Every single one of them."
Suddenly, a helicopter landed nearby.
Three people stepped out—one woman and two men.
One of the men said,
"This is truly unfortunate, Young Reaper Senior."
The woman replied coldly,
"Don't add salt to his wounds, Berserker."
Then he smirked,
"Hebi Senior, why do you even feel bad? We aren't supposed to have emotions."
Hebi shrugged.
"Yeah, I know. I was just saying."
The third man, Titan, looked at Rohan and said,
"You called us, Young Reaper. We've come to take you back."
Rohan nodded.
"Yes. Let's go."
All four of them boarded the helicopter and flew away.
Who were these people—Berserker, Hebi, and Titan?
Why did they call Rohan Young Reaper?
Will Rohan find out who killed his mother and sister?
And whom did Rohan really call?
To find out—stay with us.
