Chapter 111 - The Path of the Sword King

At the crossroads in the Tower, Jin had arrived there after leaving. The boy reached the Tower gates in the Murim continent, but he decided to go to Sichuan Province before returning to the Sect, and of course, his destination was specific.

The boy emerged into the Tower in the heart of the Alliance capital; his clothes were dark and fluttering with the air, and the sheath of his new sword was hanging on his waist. The only difference was in his hair; it was no longer that long, flowing hair; it had returned to its short, untidy hairstyle. When he stepped out, the Alliance's Oversight Office was in front of him.

Many stood up when they saw his appearance; it seemed he was hiding a good amount of strength.

One of the supervisors: "Stop there! Entering the Tower and moving through it is prohibited. Do you know the penalty for what you are doing?"

The guards moved; the supervisor's guards were all Sword Masters specially trained for this role only. The boy did not fight and did not move; he remembered something at that moment.

Flashback: The Grand Warden: "Take this medallion; the Sect Leader has ordered that you receive it."

Jin: "What is this?"

The Warden: "It is an entry permit to the Tower obtained by the most important figures on the planet. It is also an immunity; no one can question you about what you are doing in case you enter the Alliance. But if you do something yourself, then you will be executed immediately for breaking the law."

The Current Moment: Jin took that card out of the storage ring and gave it to the Main Supervisor. The rest of the supervisors and guards knew nothing about it, but the Main Supervisor knew. He looked, and his eyes widened in shock; the title recorded for Jin was not Elder, Super Demon, or even one of the Sect heirs, but rather a secret symbol known to no one except high-ranking officials; even Jin himself did not know its meaning.

The Main Supervisor: "Stop, everyone. He can pass."

The supervisor looked at Jin and spoke in a voice heard only by the two of them:

"Elder, I hope you do not cause a problem. You know the consequences of making any mistakes."

Jin: "Don't worry, I'm just coming to meet a friend, nothing more."

After more than a day of rapid travel, Jin reached Sichuan Province. He entered the palace that he and Yun Hai had built together. The construction of the palace was finished, the fighter training facility dedicated to protecting the place was prepared, and many projects were opened to support it financially!

Jin thought for moments: "What is this medallion? And what kind of card is it for this to happen? Ah, never mind, I'm tired of searching for answers."

He looked around for moments and was contemplating the beauty of the place and the gentle life that had breathed into it. That was the first moment his conscience was relieved from the guilt that caused the making of this place! The boy smiled and began wandering a little; he was looking at the children and the rest of the residents.

The situation had become beautiful and pleasant. He reached a large wing inside the palace; this was a miniature school for children! Dozens of children were sitting and learning, laughing and enjoying their time, but there was one child missing.

Jin searched for him a bit and found him in one of the quiet courtyards; it was that child who had lost his brother on that day. Jin watched him for a while; the child was holding a wooden sword and training with it. He wasn't following a technique or style; he was just swinging dozens of times without stopping. This was the foundation of any swordsman and the beginning of the road.

But what caught Jin's attention was… the child had managed to form a Dantian at that young age! Jin approached him and called out: "Lian, what are you doing?"

Lian: "I am training, brother."

Jin: "Why don't you learn in school with the rest of the children?"

Lian replied with a grim face: "Education is boring, I want to become a swordsman to protect people."

Jin smiled and asked him: "Are you trying to learn any martial arts?"

Lian: "No, I was watching the fighters while they were training, but I couldn't understand the martial arts or imitate them. So I train normally."

Jin thought for moments; this was a bit strange, as that child managed to form a Dantian at this young age, meaning he possesses great talent.

Jin: "Hmm, I see that you were able to understand the book I gave you."

Lian: "I didn't understand anything except gathering energy and circulating energy, but the talk is boring, I don't understand it."

Jin scratched his chin a bit while thinking: "Lian, come with me, we will go on a tour in the market."

After a while, they reached the market and wandered a bit. Jin bought him some sweets and food, and they were watching life in the market. They reached a simple blacksmith's workshop and entered.

Jin: "Do you manufacture swords here?"

The owner of the place replied: "Yes, but not much; the people here use needles and other useful things for poison arts."

Jin: "Hmm, no matter. Do you make wooden swords?"

The blacksmith: "Yes, there are some."

Jin looked at Lian for a bit; he noticed Lian's features; they were not oriental at all.

Jin: "Was your family from outside Murim?"

Lian: "My older brother told me that our parents were from the outside and settled here."

Jin scratched his chin and narrowed his eyes a little while speaking: "Do you want to learn any martial arts? Were you able to enhance your body with Mana separately?"

Lian: "Hmm, no, I cannot do this or that. When I tried to enhance my body with energy, it would spread throughout my whole body. The instructor told me that I cannot do more than that and that this is called 'Full Aura.' I didn't understand what this is, but he told me that I cannot release the energy itself, but I can only release Aura."

Jin felt a bit of amazement, and his eyes widened slightly.

Jin: "Wait a moment."

After moments, Jin had brought a wooden sword; it was a Greatsword and not a normal sword. He was able to find a sword dedicated to a young trainee and gave it to the child.

Lian: "What is this, brother? Why did you give me a long and specifically wooden sword?"

Jin: "Honestly, I wanted to give you a normal and real sword, but a normal sword will not suit you. You need the long sword."

Outside, Lian was a little surprised.

Lian: "Didn't you tell me, brother, that I can use a real sword now?"

Jin smiled: "Yes, but the Greatsword you must carry only when you are ready."

Lian: "Hmm, why do you want me to use the Greatsword specifically?"

Jin laughed a bit and replied: "Look, there is a class of swordsmen who cannot use magic, and they do not master martial arts well, even they cannot separate between Aura and Mana itself. They release Aura as energy and not an extension of energy, and they rely on pure sword mastery, and they are the strongest physically without dispute, and you are at the beginning of this path."

Lian narrowed his eyes slightly while not understanding this.

Lian: "Brother… what is this path?"

Jin smiled and looked at the sky.

"This... is the path of the Sword King."
