Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

"Hey! You there—let go of that girl! Step aside and let me handle this!"

Hatake Sora leapt out from the trees, his righteous gaze fixed firmly on Uchiha Daiyu, who looked utterly confused.

It took Daiyu a moment to react.

"You blind or something?!"

It was clearly Tsunade gripping his collar, and he was the one getting beaten. Daiyu glared furiously at Hatake Sora.

"And you—damn commoner! How dare you speak to a great member of the Uchiha clan like that?!"

The Uchiha family's arrogance really was hereditary…

Hatake Sora curled his lip in disdain. Great Uchiha clan?

After the battle at the Valley of the End, they would be constantly ostracized by Konoha, yet they would continue clinging to their hollow pride, completely unable to read the situation. In the end, they would even be annihilated by their own prodigy—Uchiha Itachi.

The Uchiha clan was destined to be a tragedy.

With that thought, Hatake Sora couldn't help but look at Daiyu with a hint of pity. This kid probably wouldn't meet a good end either…

"Damn you! Don't look at me like that, you filthy commoner!"

The Uchiha were used to looking down on others—never being pitied themselves. Daiyu's pride took a devastating hit.

"Alright, alright, I get it, Little Dried Fish."

Hatake Sora looked at Daiyu indulgently. This kid probably didn't have many good years left anyway.

"AAAHH!"

Daiyu was on the verge of losing his mind.

"Put me down, Tsunade! I'm going to teach this ignorant commoner a lesson!"

Even after being beaten half to death by Tsunade, Daiyu still couldn't tolerate the humiliation dealt by Hatake Sora.

"Fine."

To everyone's surprise, Tsunade actually released her grip and stepped aside, arms crossed, watching calmly.

"This is interesting."

Tsunade stared intently at Hatake Sora. This was the first time she had ever seen something like this.

A commoner daring to look at an Uchiha like that—and someone who looked even younger than her, no less.

The moment Daiyu hit the ground, he roared and charged straight at Hatake Sora.

"Brat! I'll make you understand the consequences of insulting the Uchiha clan!"

As Daiyu rushed toward him, Hatake Sora instinctively twitched his sleeve—the time-space kunai almost flew out.

Fortunately, he stopped himself in time.

With his current strength, using the time-space kunai would mean instant death for Daiyu. Though the Uchiha clan was doomed to perish decades later, killing Hatake Sora right now would still be as easy as crushing an ant.

"Better use a stone…"

Hatake Sora bent down and picked up a small rock. With a light flick of his wrist, Daiyu didn't even have time to react.

The thumb-sized pebble struck him precisely on a nerve behind the knee.

"Ah—!"

Daiyu's legs gave out instantly. He tumbled like a rolling gourd, spinning several times before collapsing face-first at Hatake Sora's feet—out cold.

The kid really hadn't had it easy.

First, Tsunade's merciless beating. Then, Hatake Sora's ruthless humiliation.

Passing out like this might actually be a mercy…

Hatake Sora let out a quiet sigh.

"Bullying children really isn't my thing."

Seeing this, Tsunade's eyes lit up, and she slowly lowered her hands.

She clearly hadn't expected a plain-looking commoner like Hatake Sora to possess such precise and ruthless technique.

But now, she didn't need to step in at all.

After all—

This was a matter of the Uchiha clan's honor.

And Uchiha Daiyu would never hold back…
