"Rei Kuroda"
It was the first thing John heard after the honk.
'Wait, heard? So I'm alive,' he sighed in relief... At least he tried to.
'Hmm? I can't move, or speak... I didn't become paralyzed, did I???'
He felt the biggest panic attack of his life. Dread seized him, adrenaline surged, and his thoughts became a frantic mess.
'No, no, no, no, anything but that! Think calmly, don't let emotions take over.'
He tried to move again, he tried to open his eyes as if his life depended on it.
And... he succeeded?
His stiff face immediately became relaxed.
'Thankfully,' the relief he felt was immeasurable.
His emotional rollercoaster took a bit less than two seconds, though for him it felt like an eternity.
After opening his eyes, he saw the most exquisite sight of his life.
A woman of unfathomable beauty, defying all earthly comparisons, she was just so... perfect. He felt that it was disgraceful to even compare her to the top models he'd ever seen.
Long black hair, a small pale face, eyes, like a twin blue sapphires, small nose, full rosy lips, and figure he can only describe as perfect.
Her breasts were just a bit bigger than average, perfectly adding to her small waist and rather big hips.
And her gaze... It was so loving, so adoring.
'So beautiful...' He was at a loss of words.
Her eyes became moist, but he could clearly see that it was from overwhelming happiness.
"My son, Rei Kuroda..."
'Such a breathtaking smile,' John- No, Rei thought.
And something clicked inside of him. His eyes became as dark as the abyss itself. His temperature rose a little.
'I want her. All for myself.'
His mother fell unconscious, probably from fatigue.
And just like that, John decided to forget of his previous identity.
It took mere seconds for the transformation to complete.

It took him a whole 5 minutes to come back to his senses.
'...I lost my cool twice... How ironic that I even prided myself for being calm.' He chuckled in his mind.
'But this situation is... truly strange.' He looked at his small hands, that he somehow moved.
'I am now a baby, so how can I move so freely? At least freely for a newborn.'
He raised his hand just in the path of the sunlight.
'And more importantly, what are those rainbow thingies?'
In the air floated rainbow islands, each a few millimeters in diameter.
They appeared and disappeared at random intervals, as if he was looking at an illusion.
'Mana?' Of course Rei's obsessed mind immediately thought of this very possibility.
Unfortunately, his body started to turn off. All nervousness, stress and happiness were too much for his newborn body.
'So sleepy...' Were his thoughts a moment before falling into a world of dreams.

I woke up to a melodic sound of my mother's voice.
'They are really speaking my mother tongue despite it being another world.'
My brain started working immediately after waking up. Which is highly unnatural.
"Does she really want to come here that much?" Mother asked with a sigh.
"Yes, Miss Rose. The young lady has started, umm... throwing tantrums, if I dare say."
'So her name is Rose, Rose Kuroda, Black Rose. Seems fitting.
And maids, huh? So I am somewhere in medieval times, most probably in a noble household.'
"Just let her in. That girl..." She sighed again, as if battling a headache.
'I also never saw my father, but there are just too many possibilities: his death, some important mission, milk or he can just not exist.
Who knows what they can do in this world.'
I only had a few seconds to think before a 2-year-old girl ran through a door like a little rocket.
'Agile for her age. Looks exactly like mother's smaller version. Older sister or a cousin?' He pondered.
"What is it, my baby girl?" Rose, despite her weariness, reacted with surprising speed, catching the little rocket in her free hand.
'Definitely a sister.'
Girl jumped right in mother's hug with a joyful expression.
"Is this brother?" She asked, pointing at me in Rose's other arm.
"Yes." She looked at me warmly while smiling. "Your little brother, Rei Kuroda."
"Woah, he is so small." My sister said a bit shocked.
She, on reflex, wanted to take me in her arms, but Rose can't just allow it:
"Mei, dear, you probably want to go and play with the servants, don't you?" She asked with `gentle` smile.
"Y-yeah," she said instinctively, and after a few seconds of processing, she pouted and walked out of the room.
'...Mei Kuroda, Black Plum. How cute.'
'Well, feels like my new life will be very interesting.'
A smile, a bit creepy, appeared on my face, barely noticeable.
'And I will enjoy it to the fullest.' The decision was made, the decision that will shake the world.
