Chapter 2: Market Hierarchy (Power Ranks)

[

The System categorizes all life based on Net Worth. Increasing your Rank isn't just about training; it's about increasing your "Value" to the Market.

Below is the official Valuation Hierarchy used by the Great Nebula Exchange:

[RANK F] — JUNK ASSETS

• Valuation Range: $0 – $1,000

• Description: The baseline for humanity. These are non-combatants, manual laborers, and those who have not yet "awakened" their financial potential.

• Capacity: No active skill slots. Highly vulnerable to Liquidation.

[RANK D] — COMMON ASSETS

• Valuation Range: $1,001 – $50,000

• Description: The entry-level for hunters and mercenaries.

• Capacity: Basic combat skills and 1-2 low-tier item slots unlocked.

[RANK C] — MID-CAP ASSETS

• Valuation Range: $50,001 – $500,000

• Description: Professional guild members and squad leaders.

• Capacity: High-level tactical coordination and specialized class skills.

[RANK B] — BLUE CHIP ASSETS

• Valuation Range: $500,001 – $5,000,000

• Description: The "Gold Standard" of the hunter world. Stable, elite combatants and local celebrities.

• Capacity: Advanced skill trees and access to "Epic" grade equipment.

[RANK A] — GROWTH STOCKS

• Valuation Range: $5,000,001 – $100,000,000

• Description: High-volatility entities. National-scale influence. These individuals are usually the Masters of mid-sized guilds.

• Capacity: Area-of-effect skills and significant "Wealth Pressure" influence.

[RANK S] — SOVEREIGN ASSETS

• Valuation Range: $100,000,000+

• Description: Market Makers. These entities define the local economy and possess enough power to influence planetary law.

• Capacity: Reality-warping skills and "Sovereign Aura."

[THE ZERO ANOMALY] — UNLISTED ENTITY

• Valuation: $0.00 (Flat)

• Status: UNDEFINED.

• Risk Profile: Infinite. Because the System cannot calculate a value for a "Zero," it cannot apply taxes, penalties, or death-timers. However, a Zero also receives no System-level protection or subsidies.

 TECHNICAL NOTE: WEALTH PRESSURE

In this world, Wealth is Power.

The System applies a physical force known as "Wealth Pressure" during interactions. An entity with a significantly higher Net Worth can physically suppress, paralyze, or even crush a lower-valued entity simply by existing in the same space.

• Example: A Rank B hero ($1M) can freeze a Rank F laborer ($500) with a single glance.

• Exception: This pressure does not work on a "Zero," as you cannot calculate a mathematical difference against a null value.

[Market Tip]:Never buy the hype of a failing Rank A when you can buy the dip on a rising Rank C.
