One day, Maro and Naru were talking.
Maro suddenly said,
"I will become the Kamioma, and you will be my assistant Kamioma. Okay?"
Naru replied,
"What? I will become the Kamioma, and you will be my assistant Kamioma."
Maro said,
"No way. I will be the Kamioma."
They started arguing.
Maro said,
"Let's fight. If I win, that means I am stronger than you. So I should be the Kamioma of the Light Kamio Village, and you will be the assistant Kamioma."
Naru replied,
"Okay. Come, fight."
Maro attacked Naru with a Kamio technique, but Naru easily blocked the attack with his fire technique.
Naru said,
"Now we will see who should be the Kamioma of the Light Kamio Village."
Maro replied,
"The fight isn't over yet."
Maro then used two Kamio techniques at the same time—one from his right hand and another from his left hand. Naru was shocked to see that Maro could use two techniques together. It was very difficult to do.
Naru tried to block both attacks. He managed to block one, but he could not block the second. The attack hit Naru, but it was not very dangerous. He was only slightly hurt.

Maro replied,

Naru replied,
"Same."
Maro said,
"I got an idea."
Naru asked,
"What is it?"
Maro said,
"The Kamioma position will change every month. One month I will be the Kamioma, and the next month you will be the Kamioma. Then again I will be Kamioma for one month, and after that you will take the position again."
Naru said,
"The idea is not bad."
Maro replied,
"Yes."
After some time, Naru went home.
Naru's father said angrily,
"Why did you become friends with a boy from the Shieu clan?"
Naru's father received this information from another member of baki clan.
Naru said,
"Father, I want to ask you something."
Naru's father replied,
"What is it?"
Naru asked,
"Why are we fighting the Shieu clan? What do we gain from fighting?"
