Chapter 57 - Type-Moon, A small cheat is still a cheat Chapter 57

057: The Seat of the Holy Spirit

Regarding the "End" John spoke of, Novia understood it to be the so-called Apocalypse, the true concluding chapter of the New Testament.

The problem was, why did John's description include an extra, rather baffling segment? In John's words, it was something he called the "Prelude to the Apocalypse."

Apostle John described it to Novia as follows:

I saw.

In the midst of the world of men, there was One, clad in a robe white as snow, reaching down to His feet, bound at the chest with something dark blue and black.

His head and hair were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like the deep blue ocean, His voice like the sound of the sun.

He came into this world to reconnect the Son and the Father, perpetually working to move, guide, teach, and reveal, causing fruit to be borne. The fruit borne is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

What this One promises and carries out is distributed to each as He wills, poured out abundantly upon the earth through Jesus Christ.

Though He caused the flame of Vesta to never burn again, He guaranteed eternal safety.

And I saw the temple in the Holy Land open, and within the temple appeared calamities, causing the heavens to shut and withhold rain, and having the authority to turn water into blood, and to strike the world with all kinds of plagues at any time as He wished.

Calamity thereby deceives those who dwell on the earth, saying that an image must be made for this false Messiah, and that all who do not worship the false image shall be killed.

Calamity also calls upon all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and bound, to cut off one finger and receive a mark.

His actions will turn the sea into blood, like the blood of the dead, and every living thing in the sea and on the earth will die.

As Calamity sits upon the throne, the kingdoms of men grow dark.

I saw the First Man as if dead, felled before Calamity, yet he bravely said, "I need not fear. I came into the world so that all good may find happiness."

I heard a voice come from the sky: "My wrath has come. The time to judge irredeemable evil has come. The time for you to destroy that which corrupts the world has come. The one who overcomes shall thus be clothed in white, and My Father will by no means blot his name out of the Book of Life. Moreover, I and My Father and the angels of My Father shall accept him into the seat he deserves."

The world lost its color, darkness covered the land. The words spoken by that Man, this One, the Holy Spirit—let anyone who has ears listen. So too for the Antichrist King.

And there were voices, thunderings, and a great roar. Since there were men upon the earth, the Holy Land had never suffered damage so great and terrible.

That Calamity was destroyed, never to appear again.

Therefore, the words spoken by the Holy Spirit—let anyone who has ears listen.

The Holy Spirit I saw, who tread upon the sea and the land, swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in heaven, the earth and the things on earth, the sea and the things in the sea, saying, "What has been said must be upheld until destruction. This is my covenant with you."

After John finished recounting the content of the Prelude to the Apocalypse, he then proceeded to describe the Apocalypse as Novia remembered it, yet the content had undergone subtle changes.

For example, the cause of the Final Judgment in the Apocalypse was originally Christ's reappearance.

Because some would claim to be Christ, rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, kingdom against kingdom, terrible earthquakes, famines, plagues, many betraying and hating each other, lawlessness increasing, the love of many growing cold.

Thus a new world would be created.

But the reason for the Apocalypse that John recounted to Novia was completely different, reaching the point of being utterly bewildering.

While the preceding content differed somewhat, after the seven angels sounded the seven trumpets, the content changed entirely:

An angel came to me and said, "Come here and witness the arrival of punishment."

A great sign appeared in heaven: a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns on its heads. Its body was covered with blasphemous names. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

A woman rode upon a scarlet beast. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls. In her hand she held a golden cup, full of abominable things, the filth of her wickedness.

This is that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.

Written on her forehead was a name: MYSTERY, MOTHER OF ALL ABOMINATIONS ON EARTH.

And I saw the woman desiring to drink the blood of the Holy Spirit and eat His flesh. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

The angel said to me, "Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides."

The beast you saw once was not, now is, and will come up out of what the Holy Spirit has bestowed, only to go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast that once was not, now is, and yet will come again.

The angel also said to me, "The waters you saw, where the woman sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. They are also the great city that rules over the kings of the earth."

The Holy Spirit worked in the world of men until this disguised devil revealed its true face.

For the Holy Spirit was made to drink the wine of her desire. He suffered in pain within the fire, before the holy angels and the Lamb.

I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Pay her back as she has paid others. Repay her double for what she has done. Mix her a double portion from her own cup."

"As she has glorified herself and lived luxuriously, give her the same measure of torment and sorrow."

Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire.

In a single hour she has been brought to ruin. The blood of all who were slain on earth is found in her.

Light can no longer shine upon the earth; the nations have been slaughtered.

And I saw the eyes of the Holy Spirit open. His eyes, like the deep blue ocean, were like flames. On His head were many crowns, and a name written that no one knows but Himself. He was dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and He was calling her to account for the blood of those she had slain.

The heavens opened. A great white throne and the One seated on it appeared. Earth and sky fled from His presence, and there was no place for them.

Fire came down from heaven and consumed everything.

It was the fierce wrath of Almighty God. The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

They shouted, "King of kings and Lord of lords."

The One on the throne wiped away the sorrow of the Holy Spirit. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. So too should the heart of man.

And He said, "Behold, I am making everything new."

Because of all the impurity that occurred on earth, all things will be punished. The living will die, and the dead will die again.

No impure thing of the earth may enter there. It is the kingdom filled with God's glory. Even though its gates will never be shut by day, and there will be no night there.

For the key has been shattered.

However, since the Seat of the Holy Spirit already exists, that Man must always ascend to it.
