Chapter 96 "Iron Man, so weak!"
"How do we cooperate?"
Banner showed some wariness. Unlike Tony, who trusted Finney Hellseg because of the life-saving favor, he had always been wary of Finney.
"Let Hulk come out more often. It's convenient for you to understand him, but I don't know much about Hulk yet."
"Just let him out is enough!?"
Banner was a little surprised, seemingly not expecting it to be just that. But actually, letting Hulk out wasn't a safe thing either, so he replied, "But he's dangerous!"
"I don't think so!"
Finney looked at Banner and said, "You need to understand that this isn't an ordinary person in front of you. Iron Man is one thing, but you've seen my strength too."
"What do you mean Iron Man is one thing!?"
Tony was very dissatisfied and started to speak up for Finney: "Bruce, you call that big guy out. I want to see how dangerous he is!"
After spending this time together, Banner also understood Tony's personality and the strength of the Iron Man armor, but he didn't think Tony could beat Hulk, at least not the Mark 6.
Banner hesitated. He desperately wanted to separate from Hulk, and Finney was his only hope, plus the request wasn't unreasonable.
After a moment's hesitation, Banner finally agreed.
"Are we just going to call him out here?"
Hearing Banner's words, Finney quickly shook his head and said, "Later, I'll take you to the Himalayas, then you can call him out there."
"Remember to prepare some clothes!"
Finney reminded him, as Banner's appearance after transforming, wearing only his underwear, was rather unsightly.
Tony, not understanding the reason, gave Finney a strange look.
Banner, still pondering whether agreeing to the request was the right thing to do, simply nodded silently.
As evening approached, Tony, wanting to see the Hulk, didn't leave. The three of them ate plenty of chicken wraps and weren't hungry, so Finney opened a portal and they all arrived in the Himalayas.
The sudden shift from scorching heat to freezing cold was disconcerting for the three, with only Banner
feeling the most uncomfortable. Finney, wearing his "Haunted" armor, wasn't too cold even without ice and snow resistance, and Tony, needless to say, had considered environmental factors back in Mark II.
Only Banner, not transformed into the Hulk, possessed only the physical attributes of an ordinary human, even slightly weaker, and shivered in the cold.
"Alright, transform already!"
Finney noticed Banner's discomfort and urged him to transform quickly.
"Wait!"
Banner hugged his arms, trying to control his anger, but perhaps due to the cold, he couldn't transform into the Hulk immediately, creating an awkward situation.
"What's going on?"
Tony had been watching expectantly, but seeing Banner grit his teeth and remain motionless for a while, he was puzzled. "Is your stomach upset?"
Finney looked at Banner speechlessly and began to provoke him: "Think about your ex-girlfriend, she's already with another man."
Banner's face turned green.
"Then think about your future girlfriend, she might be very beautiful, she might not mind you, she might even be flirting with several men!"
Banner had been quite expectant at the beginning of the story, but upon hearing the last sentence, a surge of anger rushed to his head, turning him completely green.
Hulk finally appeared! "Roar!"
Hulk appeared amidst Banner's anger, so he roared angrily as soon as he appeared, startling Tony.
"That's Hulk?"
Tony looked at the Hulk, who was completely green except for his pants, and said to Finney, "He doesn't seem like much except for being big."
"I hope you'll still have that opinion later." Finney looked at Tony with pity. He knew Tony had come in his armor intending to fight the Hulk, and he didn't intend to stop him, as long as the Hulk didn't kill him.
After the Hulk appeared, he angrily scanned his surroundings. When he saw Finney, he paused slightly, then immediately ran towards him.
Tony cautiously took a few steps back. Although he said the Hulk was nothing, he was still somewhat wary.
"Sorcerer!"
Hulk's eyes showed a hint of joy, seemingly happy to see Finney again! "Long time no see, Hulk!"
Finney greeted him happily.
"Hey, big guy, I'm Iron Man!"
Tony chimed in. He was always the center of attention wherever he went, rarely being ignored like this.
"Roar!"
Unfortunately, the Hulk didn't give him any face. Upon seeing Tony, he roared angrily, seemingly angry that Tony had interrupted his conversation with Finney.
Although Hulk was naive, he was also very perceptive of emotions. Finney's initial interaction with Hulk was genuine, which is why he was easily accepted. However, Tony's tone just now was clearly unfriendly, even provocative, and Hulk noticed it immediately.
"I don't like this guy!"
Tony withdrew his outstretched hand and complained to Finney.
"I think he doesn't like you either."
Finney, not yet understanding the reason, assumed Hulk was just shy, so he went over to reassure him, "It's okay, he's Banner's friend."
"Enemy!"
Hulk uttered, staring at Tony with even more disgust in his eyes.
Finney scratched his head awkwardly, offering no further explanation, and turned to say, "Didn't you want to know Hulk's strength? Want to experience it for yourself?"
"Are you sure?"
Tony looked at Hulk, his tone skeptical. "He's only a few sizes bigger, are you sure you want to fight me?"
Finney ignored the ridiculously arrogant Tony, turned back to Hulk, and said, "Give me some face later, don't kill him, okay?"
Hearing about a fight, Hulk nodded excitedly, his gaze towards Tony burning with fervor.
"Don't blame me for not warning you, underestimating Hulk will get you into trouble, he'd even dare to beat up a god!"
Finney turned back and warned Tony again.
Actually, to be honest, he himself had never really fought Hulk properly. Before, the military had suppressed him for a while, and then Hulk was wary of Betty, so he hadn't truly unleashed much of his power.
"That's because he hasn't met Iron Man yet!"
Tony said arrogantly, then charged towards Hulk, not even attempting to suppress him with firepower in mid-air, seemingly wanting to test Hulk's strength first.
Finney was completely dumbfounded; going head-to-head with Hulk was something he wouldn't even dare to think about for the time being.
Sure enough, trying it meant certain death!
The two exchanged only one punch, and the battle was practically over.
"Sir, damage level detected: 38%, laser system damaged, palm-jet system damaged..."
Listening to J.A.R.V.I.S.'s report, Tony, who had been sent flying a considerable distance by a punch, was still somewhat dazed. Hulk's strength far exceeded his expectations.
"Iron Man, so weak!"
Meanwhile, Hulk looked at Finney and commented, spitting on the ground with a look of utter disdain.
Luckily, Tony didn't see this scene; otherwise, he probably wouldn't have been able to withstand such a blow.
