Chapter 64 - Chapter 63

Chapter 63 Go and Ask Buddha

Finney for Help! Finney couldn't stay by Skye's side forever. School started, and he had to go back to class. But Ivan's inexplicable disappearance was really worrying.

So, on his way to school, he repeatedly told Skye, "Remember, call me immediately if anything happens, or go to the Temple for help."

  "Okay."

Skye waved impatiently, her eyes still glued to the computer. She'd heard that several times already. Although she knew Finney meant well, it still made her feel like she was being treated like a little girl. She was the older sister, after all!

Finney sighed helplessly. Now, he actually hoped that Ivan had been rescued by Justin Hammer, at least they wouldn't be in such a passive position now.

When they arrived at school, the students were still immersed in the excitement of the holidays. Tony's recent popularity had given them even more to talk about, and many were still discussing the opening ceremony that night.

Billy, who was present in person, became the target of everyone's curiosity. Many girls were quite taken aback by his presence, which satisfied their vanity and completely lifted their spirits after being fired.

"Finney, I heard you were there that night too?"

someone asked, but Finney deliberately shook his head and replied, "There were too many people that day, and I was far away, so I didn't see anything. Billy knows a lot about it; you should ask him."

Sensing Finney's dismissive tone, no one dared to press the issue, except for a few girls with ulterior motives. Finney, somewhat helpless, could only recount some other things he'd seen at the event.

Two more days passed, the mundane routine making Finney wonder if Tony had secretly dealt with Ivan.

Just as he was considering contacting Tony to inquire about the situation, a revenge plot against Tony Stark finally began.

  It was 3 PM.

Ed, a member of Stark Industries, was working in Stark Tower. His exceptional skills had allowed him to finish his work ahead of schedule.

His favorite part of the day was spending time by the window after finishing his work, gazing at the view from his vantage point. The panoramic view gave him a great sense of satisfaction.

However, today, as he stood by the window, a steel robot suddenly landed beside it, startling him.

Immediately afterward, another robot flew over, and soon the building was filled with a dense swarm of steel robots, their silver bodies gleaming slightly in the sunlight, their crimson indicator lights looking somewhat cold.

  "The boss's new technology!?"

At first, Ed was a little scared, but then curiosity overwhelmed him. Everyone knew Tony Stark was Iron Man, and only he could currently create such armor.

  "Everyone, come and see!"

Ed quickly called to his colleagues to come and see.

Hearing Ed's call, the others curiously looked up, and unsurprisingly, they were all startled when they saw the countless robots outside.

Then, like Ed, they gathered around the window, curious about what would happen next.

Although some sensed something was amiss, most, like Ed, believed it was a new move by Tony Stark, their former boss and current boyfriend.

Besides Ed and his group inside the building, some robots were stationed at the entrance, and a large crowd waited outside, eager to see what was going on.

Meanwhile, Ivan Vanko, the operator of these robots, was happily inviting his target for revenge.

Although he had been taken to a certain place and suffered some minor torment initially, he was quite happy after reaching a preliminary agreement, even happily acquiring a bird.

Most importantly, he had achieved his goal and gained the power to take revenge on Stark. At

  Tony's villa.

  "Sir, an unknown call!"

Jarvis's voice came through, causing Tony, who was modifying his armor, to pause slightly. Holding a wrench in one hand, he casually replied, "Is it an agent? Answer it."

"Hey, Tony!"      However, the voice on the phone made Tony's expression change instantly. He immediately returned to his computer and replied with a serious face, "It's you, Ivan Vanko. You're still alive."

"Of course I'm alive until I see you die a painful death."

Ivan's voice sounded happy on the phone, but Tony was clearly not so happy. While instructing Jarvis to start tracking the address, he stalled, saying,

"Then you probably won't see it."

With revenge imminent, Ivan clearly had no mood to argue with Tony and said directly,

"Tony, today the history of the Stark family is about to be rewritten. What your father did to my family 40 years ago, I will do to you in 40 minutes!"

"Sir, the tracking location is near your building."

Jarvis's tracking made Tony's heart tighten even more. He immediately said to Ivan on the phone, "What do you want to do?"

  "I hope you're ready!"

Ivan didn't answer and simply hung up the phone.

"Pull up the situation near the building!"

Tony immediately ordered Jarvis to check the company's situation. When he saw the dense array of steel armor in the air and on the ground of the building, he paused.

Even with his new element, that number would be difficult to handle.

  "Bang!"

Tony slammed his fist on the table. He wasn't one to give up easily, especially since he was the creator of the Iron Man armor.

  "Call Pepper!"

  "Yes, sir."

As soon as the call connected, Pepper's somewhat puzzled voice came through the phone: "Tony, there are a lot more outside..."

"Listen, get out of the company immediately!"

Tony interrupted Pepper, urgently ordering, "Then send people to evacuate the crowd. Remember, whatever you do, don't touch those robots!"

Sensing something was wrong with Tony's tone, Pepper hadn't even had a chance to ask what was wrong before Tony hung up. He needed to find a solution quickly.

When it came to asking for help, Tony immediately thought of Finney, especially since Finney had an organization behind him. While equipping the Mark VI, he quickly dialed Finney's number.

However, Finney wasn't like Pepper, who indulged Tony and answered his calls anytime, anywhere.

"Sorry, sir, Mr. Finney is refusing to speak. I suspect he's in class."

"Find their principal's number and tell him I need to donate a lab building that requires immediate construction. Give them a day off!"

Tony, somewhat overwhelmed by anxiety, gave Jarvis an order, but immediately realized it wouldn't work. Suppressing his urgency, he instructed again, "Stop looking. Keep texting Finney, saying there's a very urgent situation." Finney

, focused on his class, only realized something was wrong when his phone beeped for the third time. Seeing Tony's persistent plea for help, he instantly knew something was wrong again.

This surprised and worried him, and he was also conflicted. Did Tony think he was some kind of benefactor?!

Why did he come to him for every problem?! (Note: The last sentence is a separate, unrelated comment:
