Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Hongjun: I Am the World Sacred Being

The vast Primordial World was endless and boundless. Hongjun walked continuously between heaven and earth, and indeed encountered many Innate Spiritual Plants and Spiritual Fruits along the way.

After such a long time, he still hadn't reached his destination, Mount Buzhou, which was formed from Pangu's spine.

The Primordial World was simply too vast, constantly growing every moment.

Some Innate Spiritual Plants and Spiritual Trees were even larger than an entire World.

The power they contained was incredibly terrifying.

Of course, even if they grew unchecked, they couldn't compare to an Innate Sacred Being. The nobility of an Innate Sacred Being lies not in the energy they contain, but in the Dao and their Realm.

As soon as an Innate Sacred Being is born, they contract the past and future, becoming a unique existence in time. Furthermore, they command a Dao, which is imprinted upon the Primordial World.

They can grow and become stronger along with this World.

Looking at the plants and trees between heaven and earth, Hongjun had no desire to collect them.

Even some Innate Spiritual Plants and Spirit Medicines, which contained powerful Law Power, were of great use to ordinary Innate Beings.

But he was an Innate Sacred Being; these things were completely useless to him. Why collect them? He'd even have to expend a bit of power to create a storage space.

Hongjun looked at the plants and trees, then thought about the flowers and grasses on Yujing Mountain—there was no difference at all. Naturally, he had no intention of collecting garbage.

Instead, he focused wholeheartedly on heading toward Mount Buzhou. During this process, he naturally encountered some Innate Fierce Beasts, but ordinary Innate Fierce Beasts could not cause him the slightest bit of harm.

The final result was that they became Divine Artifacts for accumulating Karma.

At this moment, the Power of the Five Elements between heaven and earth became chaotic and began converging in one direction.

Hongjun's expression tightened. This was the sign that an Innate Sacred Being was fighting nearby.

Every move and style of an Innate Sacred Being could easily draw upon the Laws and Dao between heaven and earth.

Feeling the situation, he pondered for a moment, then, without hesitation, rushed toward that direction.

After all these years, he wanted to see what level he stood at among the Innate Sacred Beings of the Primordial World, having opened up a crystal divine kingdom and nurtured a Great World within his body.

To see if he had taken the wrong path.

Otherwise, in this era where there was no specific mention of Realms, how could he know if his path was right or wrong?

It wasn't like later generations where there were clear Realm divisions, such as Taiyi and Daluo.

Hongjun took a step, tearing open the Void Realm and walking toward that direction. With every step, he passed through countless Worlds.

Before long, Hongjun finally arrived at the edge of the battlefield where the Innate Sacred Beings were fighting and stopped. Looking up, he saw a massive Barrier ahead. Roars echoed from within the Barrier.

"Awoo awoo awoo... awoo awoo..."

Hongjun's gaze swept toward the battlefield. In the center of the battlefield, an existence radiating Five-Colored Radiance stood in the Void Realm.

In his hand was a drop of Blood, also displaying five colors.

The Blood radiated the power of the Great Dao of the Five Elements, fiercely attracting the Innate Fierce Beasts like poison.

Above, another Innate Sacred Being held a cauldron-shaped Magic Treasure, radiating endless Qiankun Power.

This had completely enveloped the entire area.

That Innate Sacred Being, who radiated the Great Dao of the Five Elements, was preparing an ultimate move. A stream of Five-Colored Radiance was gradually condensing, absorbing the surrounding Power of the Five Elements and growing stronger.

Hongjun's mouth twitched. He found it hard to believe that Innate Sacred Beings had already formed alliances and started 'Fishing' so quickly.

This was clearly an attempt to catch all the Innate Fierce Beasts in one go.

Before long, all the surrounding Innate Fierce Beasts had gathered inside the Barrier.

The Innate Sacred Being radiating the Great Dao of the Five Elements exchanged glances with the Innate Sacred Being radiating Qiankun Power, seemingly understanding the other's intent.

The Massive Cauldron radiating boundless Qiankun Power and the stream of Five-Colored Radiance descended together.

The enveloped Innate Fierce Beasts had absolutely no power to resist under the joint attack of these two forces.

Innate Fierce Beasts were broken down by the Five-Colored Radiance, turning into a part of the Five Elements Power of Heaven and Earth.

Likewise, Innate Fierce Beasts were completely annihilated by the boundless Qiankun Power.

This was a crushing battle. Ordinary Innate Fierce Beasts were no match for the two types of Dao Power and were simply broken down into nutrients for heaven and earth.

After completing all this, the eyes of the two beings turned toward Hongjun's direction.

The Innate Sacred Being who radiated the Power of the Five Elements coldly snorted.

"Hmph, where did this Scoundrel come from, daring to peek in the dark? If you don't come out now, don't blame me for making a move."

Hearing this, Hongjun didn't hesitate, stepping out of the Void Realm. He looked at the two Innate Sacred Beings before him and said with a beaming smile:

"I am the World Sacred Being. I sensed an abnormality in the Laws and Spiritual Qi of Heaven and Earth nearby, so I came specifically to take a look. I apologize for the disturbance. May I ask what existences the two Innate Sacred Beings are?"

At this moment, the Innate Sacred Being radiating the aura of the Great Dao of the Five Elements stepped forward and said to Hongjun:

"I am the Five Elements Sacred Being."

"I am the Qiankun Deity."

The other Innate Sacred Being also stepped forward and spoke to Hongjun.

"So it is the Five Elements Sacred Being and the Qiankun Deity. Your strength is truly formidable, and you have a knack for dealing with Innate Fierce Beasts. To have devised a method for mass annihilation of Innate Fierce Beasts so quickly truly puts you ahead of us."

Hongjun's words contained some flattery, but he didn't use clichés like "I've heard much about you." Innate Sacred Beings like them hadn't spread the Dao yet, so very few knew their names.

Saying so might arouse suspicion, making them think he had other intentions.

A bit of flattery was more likely to generate a favorable impression.

As Hongjun finished speaking, the hostility of the two Innate Sacred Beings dissipated somewhat.

At this moment, the Qiankun Deity scrutinized Daoist Hongjun, a strange look in his eyes.

This Innate Sacred Being was completely different from the others he had seen. Looking at Hongjun was like looking at a World—Worlds that were constantly generating, seemingly infinite.

And if the power of these infinite Worlds gathered together, it was likely that even he, the Innate Sacred Being who commanded the Great Dao of Qiankun, might not be his match.

He then sensed the other party's aura, which clearly contained traces of Power of Merit, and quite a lot of it. This certainly wasn't a bad person. A thought spontaneously arose in his mind.

"World Sacred Being, if you are willing, we can work together. Your Dao is very unique. By cooperating, we might be able to slay even more Innate Fierce Beasts."

The Qiankun Deity extended an olive branch toward Hongjun.

Upon hearing this, a trace of shock appeared in Hongjun's eyes. Were Innate Sacred Beings really this simple, inviting him so quickly?

After a brief thought, he made his decision and said to the Qiankun Deity:

"Since that is the case, I would be impolite to refuse. Let us work together to execute the Innate Fierce Beasts."

At this moment, the Five Elements Sacred Being beside them seemed to have received some news and said to the Qiankun Deity:

"Luo Hou has appeared! She and Hongjun—those two fellows—betrayed us Innate Sacred Beings by directly setting the gender of the Innate form, not pursuing Pangu, and going against the Dao. Now that he has appeared, let's go beat him up."

"It's just a pity that we can't find Hongjun's shadow, or else we could beat them both up."

"World, are you coming?"
