Yuji's eyes were in pure disbelief when he saw Dan standing right infront of him, his eyes were focused but broken, his mouth was wide opened "Dan? Is that you?", Yuji asked. He slowly started to take a few steps forward "I thought you were dead. Why are you on their side? What's going on?", Yuji asked with his tone breaking. Mio on the other hand who was still feeling the mental impact of Kazuma's death, was also in disbelief. She thought "Dan? Isn't that the guy that Yuji fought in one of our assassination exams? Yeah, I remember him. He was some kind of mentor towards Yuji.". Regina struggled to talk "Yuji, don't fall for it! It's a trap! Yuji, listen!", Mio's head was thinking "No, that's not some kind of clone or anything....", she looked at Dan closely, his eyes were dead "It's him! It's really him.". Mio's eyes widened "He's dead!", she muttered. Regina yelled "YUJI, YOU IDIOT!", before Yuji even knew what was happening, a blade had stabbed him straight into the chest. He looked so confused, his blood splashed out of his body, Mio and Regina were stunned "YUJI!", they screamed his name. Shindell clicked her tounge, stretched out her palm and created a beam of energy "This is such a waste of time.", she sneered before shooting the beam at Yuji. A powerful explosion of energy rippled through the place, this was something that caught Kazuma's attention as he walked through the city looking for his friends. Kazuma paused for a moment "So it's over there.", he continued to walk forward. The smoke cleared, Yuji was seen standing with his head faced down. His body took serious burns, his hands, legs and his clothes were steaming with smoke. Yuji muttered, his voice and will broken "I can't do this anymore. I've had enough.", he dropped to the ground. Volt's eyes struggled to open up "Yuji?", he muttered his friends name before gritting his teeth "Gnh! Yuji! Come on, say something!", he said while holding his pain. Kito was laying on the floor, "Volt, that's enough. There's nothing we can do anymore. I don't think there's anyone coming to save us. Laria could come here to get the job done, but that's if she wants to. Don't waste your breath, it's over.", Kito said to Volt. Rexus had a mild but amused smirk on his face "Hm? Looks like you all have given up. Well, it was only a matter of time if you did. There's no way you kids can actually get out of this one, might as well say your prayers.". Laria's mechanical circle was watching from above, she was already preparing herself to go outside and save the students "Reiko, take care of the kids.", she said as she put on a few gears and prepared to launch herself outside. Rexus turned to Shindell "Hey, you. Finish the job.", Shindell sighed "Yeah, yeah.". She created another beam of energy on her palms, but this one was much more powerful than any of the other one's she had created previously "Looks like it's good bye from here.", she mocked before she whispered "Please, save me. Anyone!". Out of nowhere, a purple beam of energy flew straight from a far and shot at Shindell's arm, causing her arm to take serious damage. Everyone was shocked, Kito, Volt and White were stunned, even Mio and Regina couldn't believe what just happened "Huh?", Mio exhaled "I know that energy signature.", Regina muttered. Rexus paused for a moment before a wild smirk appeared on his face "I recognise that attack.", he instantly dissappeared. From the broken space where the walls onec filled, Kazuma walked in and stumped his foot on the ground with authority and aggression "What the fuck is going on in here?!", he asked. Mio, and Regina were in shock, they're eyes widened "Kazuma?!", they said his name with disbelief. Mio started to cry "Kazuma, you're alive. You're actually alive.", Regina was also dumbfounded, but relieved "You're still alive!". Kazuma took a few steps forward and looked around. He looked to his left and saw all of the girls layed on the floor, he turned to his right and saw White, Kito and Volt all layed unconscious on the ground. As if he didn't understand what was going on, Kazuma with an almost lifeless expression, turned to his far left and saw Yuji on his knees while his body was steaming hot with burn. Kazuma didn't say a word, he looked around and saw the destruction caused to the stadium. Kazuma's eyes immediately got shadowed before saying "Mio, Regina.....", his tone became dark "Who did this to you?!", he asked. Both Mio and Regina Immediately felt chills down their bodies "Huh?!", Regina exhaled. Kazuma's left eye immediately grew purple, his tone became more aggressive "I'm asking a question here! And I want answers. Who did this to you?". Shindell tilted her head and replied with an annoyed tone "I did!", Kazuma immediately locked eyes with her with brutal killing intent. Shindell rushed at him at deranged levels of speeds, a sword of purple plasma appeared on her palms as she was ready to stab Kazuma with the attack. Kazuma didn't move at all, he stood in a place with his eyes glowing. Suddenly, a powerful slash of purple energy slashed through the stadium in a deadly and dangerous explosion of energy. Buildings behind the stadium were turned to ashes, roads were instantly wiped away within seconds. The smoke cleared, Kazuma was seen standing in a place with Shindell's plasma sword struggling to cut through his upper body. Kazuma looked at Shindell with cold eyes, her sword hadn't even made a cut into his skin. Mio and Regina were confused on what had happened "Did he just take that attack head on?", Regina questioned, Mio blinked with confusion as well "Kazuma? You just stood there and took it.", she muttered. Kazuma didn't say a word at all, he just looked at Shindell "You weren't really trying to kill me, were you? Your attack meant ill intent, but personally, you didn't want to raise an attack on someone else against your own will. Did you?". Kazuma saw himself in a dark space, Shindell was kneeling right infront of him as she cried "Please, save me. I'm an assassin from the mist city, I was sent to kill one of the soliders from the Knight Country who had infiltrated our borders. I got killed by one of them and now I'm being used as a puppet against my own will. Please, save me!". Back to the real world, Kazuma was still standing right infront of Shindell who's attack was still trying to cut through him. Kazuma sighed "I see.", his hand shaped itself like a blade before he tore Shindell's head off with one swing. As her head flew off in slow motion, Kazuma said "I'm sorry there wasn't any other way to save you. I hope you rest in peace.". Rexus stood on the roof of the stadium and started to clap "Well done, kid! You're even more terrifying than before. Let's make this worth it, shall we?". Kazuma's eyes looked at Rexus with rage "YOU!", he growled before his spirit mark activated. A tramendous amount of power shot out from his body.
