Suddenly someone entered his dorm it was a young man in his early 20s his name was Jason he noticed Xander was already up Jason:your majesty America and Japan have agreed to give us their spare resources to build our own Jaeger we're just waiting on you to approve it'll cost a 2.5 billion dollars. Jason got to work as the spray painters used large cannons and painted it dark blue as Xander got a better look at it honestly it looked weirdly like Gypsy danger it's core a rotating ignition should filled to the brim with sunflower oil and just in case their were solar panels on the back so if he ever got hit with an EMP it would remain working Jason suddenly approached xander and spoke Jason:"paint job will be finished in just a few minutes only problem is we black melee efficiency and pilots" Xander nodded and came up with an idea Xander:"do you still have that spiked gauntlet that America gave us" Jason nodded Xander spoke again his idea Xander:"melted down into a chain blade" Jason could see the idea already.
By melting down the spiked gauntlet they were given by America they can easily melt it into a chain blade and then integrate it into meridian blue giving them both long range and melee capabilities Jason:"with that idea meridian blue will be ready in no time" suddenly Xander stopped Jason Xander:"meridian blue? Is that what you're going to name the Jaeger" Jason nodded and Xander approved of it it was actually a really catchy name meridian blue he actually like the sound of that name as Jason went on a scientist who was helping build came in estimated time it would take to build meridian blue.
Engineer:"meridian blue will be complete in 3 days plus the melting of the gauntlet and turning it into a chain-blade maximum 3 days 5 hours" Xander nodded as he asked the engineer if they had any pilot simulation training rooms engineer:"yea it can only train two people at a time" Xander exhaled and spoke calmly Xander:"bringing Jason and cookie tell them they're being promoted from first private and lieutenant" the engineer immediately went to go find them as they returned with them both of them looked confused at Xander Jason:"sir what is the meaning of the sudden promotion" Xander ignored his question but also answered it at the same time Xander:"we need pilots for meridian blue and also I trust both of you will do well as of today you are officially pilots your training starts now go to the simulation machine you have 72 hours to learn as much as you can I've already sent one of the engineers to upload meridian blue's weapon systems controls to the simulation so you can learn everything you need the next breach is three and a half days from now".
They understood and immediately went to go train 48 hours later: Jason and cookie were hard at work they had just finished their advanced training of fighting a category 3 now they're next assignment was to spend their next few hours learning the ins and out of meridian blue as a simulation does not compare to the real thing the breach was only 24 hours away and they had to make haste soon meridian blue would face its first ever challenge Xander thought to himself as he was sitting in his seat the people of Helios would no longer be looked it down upon as weak.
