"meili, what are doing here?"
The old man asked after seeing his grand daughter's head popping from one of the corners of the door
He was also startled, so do felix after seeing the cat running and jumping into the room out of nowhere
"Grandfather, did you see cookie? She suddenly started running when I was carrying her"
With those words the little girl jumped into the room
She was wearing a beautiful white and red dress, she has a ponytail, her hair was brown, in between her hair there was a white flower, she was also wearing a necklace
With that said she was looking for someone or something named cookie, judging from the given circumstances we can all assume that it's the cat's name
"Cookie...as you can see that she is on the table, she startled us"
"Come here cookie, why did you run off like that? I got worried you know"
With grandfather's instructions she managed to find cookie
She tried to get cookie's attention by calling her and giving her singnals to come closer with her hands, but the cat didn't reacted to her and ignored her while licking it's paws
"Heyy!! Don't ignore me, look at me! Cookie ?"
Meili is the type of girl who didn't like to get ignored, that's why when the cat started ignoring her she get frustrated and started running towards the cat
"Haaaaa!! I am going to catch you!"
After the clear declaration, meili started running towards table, she has one clear goal- catch the cat no matter what, her eyes were determined and she looked serious.
she jumped onto the cat, But the cat was way too fast for a little girl and the next thing we knew.... Meili jumped right onto the table and slammed her head into the books, she fell right on the ground,
"Ouch!"
"Meili are you okay!?"
Right after the great show meili presented, her grandfather looked at her falled body on the ground, she looked dead when sleeping on the floor but thankfully she was alive
Her grandfather found that situation more funny than serious, he picked her up from the ground with an amusing smile on his face, he brushed off dust on her dress,and fixed her hair
"Thankyou grandfather"
"Did you get hurt anywhere?" He said while patting her hair
"No, I am totally fine, these type of incidents can't possibly hurt someone as mighty as me"
"Ok but don't do anything reckless next time around okay? "
Meili has a habit of getting herself into problems and situations like these because of her naive nature, her grandfather is really concern about her future because of that, if she countinues to get into troubles like these she will face more problems when she gets older
"Okay i promise!"
She said, with a big smile on her face
She turn her head towards the bed where felix was sleeping on
"Grandfather, who is he? And why does he look so sad?– ohhh!! He has so many wounds on his body, grandfather grandfather tell me na who is he?"
Felix's body was covered in bandages but you can still see his wounds, he was sad upon hearing that the king is dead
Meili looked once at Felix and noticed that he looks sad because of something and noticed his wounds too
"Uh..you see meili, he is also a soldier like your father, his name is Felix, he might be a friend of your father, you can ask him about your father, but not now, you see he and I are kinda busy right now"
"Are you really a friend of my father!!!?"
Hearing her grandfather's words she jumped in happiness, her face became as bright as the sun, you can see stars in her eyes
"Meili, i said it right that we are busy right now?"
"Sorry, I am going back then,but i will come back when you are done, okay? I want to talk alot with him. Grandfather do you want me to make some tea for both of you? I can make it "
She said it while placing her hand on her chest, she was standing in pridefull manner, her face was telling that she was overjoyed with happiness
"Eh..sure, make mine with less suger and what about you Felix?"
" Whoa..I don't mind"
"Okay than make his one, a normal cup "
The grandfather knows that meili has her ulterior motives behind proposing to make them a cup of tea, but he except this proposal anyway, because who would reject a offer like this where one's granddaughter is willing to make them a cup of tea, it's a pretty rare thing now a days
"Okay, I will go and make you some tea and cookies"
With that said the little girl left the room with a bright smile on her face, she started jumping and dancing while going back to the door where she first came from
"Hey, you said that I am his father's friend,right? are you telling the truth? Cause I don't remember any of the friends having any children"
"Ofcourse I was laying otherwise she would've made me crazy by asking questions after questions"
"Then why did you tell me that I am friend of his father ? What am I going to answer her if she asks questions about her father? And why did she believed that i could be a friend a of his father? Do I look that old? I am only 25 years old"
After his suspicion got confirm, he frowned not because he told her that Felix is a friend of his father but because she believed that, which made Felix think that does he look that old ?
