Nora gut twisted.what did I see ? She'd looked that night in valt , pretended it was a bad dream. Nora's hands shook she hadn't told anyone about that night not the police not even her therapist. She'd buried it so deep that it felt like fiction. But someone knew and they wanted her to remember.
Suddenly Black Hollow didn't feel like the past it felt like a trap closing in.
She ripped the envelope over again.D S,who was that? A name from her past? A warning? The rain outside grew heavier like the weight in her chest.
Her phone buzzed. A text from an unknown number " Don't ignore this Nora. You're in danger. Nora grabbed her keys. She needed answer. And she knew where exactly to start looking - the old farm house on the edge of Black Hollow. The one place she'd never wanted to see again. But she had no choice.
Nora's eyes widened as she stared at her phone , her heart racing with nervousness. She hadn't expected a text from anyone. On her way to the old farm house at the edge of Black Hollow. She met her childhood friend . Nora's mind flashed back to the encounter . She'd known Alex when he flipped a book open, revealing a peom she had written. Alex laughed softly " I hope you recall" he said this because he knew Nora wouldn't remember him . I was wondering..... would you like to grab a me coffee with me? Maybe somewhere the rain doesn't chase is indoors . She agreed,and they went to a bar and Alex ordered for the coffee. They chatted for a while making Nora forget where she was actually heading to before running into Alex .
They talked about their secondary school days and university struggle as well.As about 4:30pm Nora insisted she was leaving. Alex demanded for her contact before she left that day.
